When electromagnetic rays caused by Deoxys disturb the pokemon in Kanto, it's up to the Pokemon Ranger Solana to stop it! Can she "capture" Deoxys and protect the pokemon in the area?

Aww... I just rewatched the Japanese version and now I want to see the dub.

I wonder if PUSA will change the spoilerific opening scene.
 
This episode had good music, so I hope PUSA decides to keep it.
 
Judging by Mastermind I think all the specials will stay uncut since everything in the mastermind special (even the dialouge[pretty sure]) was left uncut.
This is though judging by one special.

Wanting to watch this, only about an hour left.

I hope Hinata's voice is a bit higher in this special, I thought it was too low last time we saw her.
I'll edit this post when the special airs in an hour.
 
This is going to be re-aired as two seperate episodes on Saturday mornings when we get up to that point in order, right?
 
Well, this should be quite interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing this.

Also, it's cool how they kept the Japanese title. ^_^


Though I would've preferred a pun (cause I love the pun titles so much). XD
 
The title sucks. As a Japanese title, it's fine. But dub titles have different requirements and this doesn't fit them.
 
This is like Max's only shining moment in the entire Battle Frontier saga.

It's a shame the kid didn't get more spotlight in what turned out to be his final season.
 
The music is pretty good. The movie referance was unexpected by me atleast since I haven't seen the raw of the episode. The animation is really nice too. Some of the information in this seems like quite a bit for kids I think, all teh stuff about the sun and all. The room thing is wierd, but Meowth puppets are always fun.
 
I did think it was cool hearing some background music from The Power of One. I think I heard some of the background music from Mewtwo Strikes Back as well.

Also, seeing Deoxys's speed form in animated form was cool too.

Just a note here. I'm not going into a rant or anything.

I noticed a few lines where Sarah's Ash voice sounded better. I was very surprised by this as well.

The lines where near the beginning, during a scene at the Pokemon Center. Ash asked when the geomagnetic disturbances started, and how all of that began. During those lines, Ash's voice was a little closer to Veronica's and I think there was a bit more emotion.

I don't remember exactly what Ash said, but there were a few lines like that, and it made me very happy. ^^


But after that scene, it went right back to the the generic, emotion-less Ash voice I usually hear in Battle Frontier (and that made me cringe).

How to describe this special? Oh yes. Odd.

Really, I wonder how exactly you get meteorite + solar winds = MASSIVE DAMAGE. I guess Deoxys is involved somehow, but eh.

Otherwise, this special was very good in general. Especially the music - I feel like they used the FRLG Deoxys theme somewhere in there, and it's a pretty badass piece.
