Review S09 EP39: Strategy Tomorrow - Comedy Tonight!

I didn't see a thread anywhere about this, so I thought I should mention it to everyone.

Well, I always watch the reruns of Advanced Battle.

So during Thursday's episode and today's, they had that little message at the bottom of the screen (which mentions upcoming premieres of CN shows).


The message said:

New episode of Battle Frontier, tomorrow at 9:30 AM


I wanted to give everyone a heads up, just in case anyone wasn't aware that they're having a new episode.



I wonder which episode this will be......

Heh, I forgot which one is supposed to come after "Aipom and Circumstance". XD


*checks the schedule on CN's website*

Oh, apparently it's going to be "Strategy Tomorrow - Comedy Tonight", whatever that one is about. ^^o

I have no idea how to pronounce that name, lol. I guess I'll just have to watch the episode and find out. ^^

May as well ask this here. Does anyone know what episodes of Battle Frontier are going to air on January 7th? CN's schedule doesn't work for me, and Toonzone doesn't seem to list the Sunday schedule.

Anyway, the Parrap episode is terrible, so don't get your hopes up too high.

And by the, Lil Brother, I checked CN's schedule for Sunday. Apparently, they will be airing these two episodes at 5:00 and 5:30:

"Spontaneous Combusken" and "Cutting The Ties That Bind"



EDIT: Huh, the Parap episode is terrible? That's odd.

What's so bad about it, Dogasu? Bad story or something? O.O

Parrap is annoying, Parrap's trainer is annoying, the plot isn't that good, the jokes are lame, and Masato made me want to just punch his smug little face in for his jab at the Rocket-Dan toward the end of the episode.

PUSA may pull a "Claydol, Big and Tall" on us and make the English version funnier than the Japanese version, but I doubt it.

That does sound like a boring episode, Dogasu. O.O


Anyway, that's true. I sure hope Pokemon USA does what you said. I'd love to see another hilarious filler episode!! ^_^

Also, pulling a "Claydol Big and Tall"! That's a great phrase! I am so gonna use that one from now on. XD

And once again I find myself disagreeing with Dogasu. I enjoyed it in Japanese so I look forward to understanding what the characters are saying. It's a fun episode so don't give up on it before you see it.

An interesting note about this episode is that we get full-blown Takeshi's Paradise so I wonder what PUSA will do with that.

I don't remember Dogasu normally having such a negative opinion of an episode. It wasn't anywhere near as bad as he says.

I didn't get the chance to see the episode until a month or two after it originally aired, so I didn't bother posting my hatred for the episode in the review thread until after it had been long forgotten.
