This is the best episode of the D/P series so far, I'd say. Its episodes like this that prove how much the writers have improved in their writing. I can't wait to see how the dub handles it.

Man, they're doing so much more interesting stuff with Paul this saga. It really makes me wish they did this stuff with Gary.

Why didn't Gary do this with say...Lance in the early days? Instead they have Gary barely appear and turn Lance into a Pokemon G-man. Yeah, bright idea.
 
Cynthia's voice is quite good...I do believe her voice actress is also Emily Jenness...Dawn's actress.
 
They're really trying to build up the whole Palkia/Dialga thing this season, huh?

Cynthia traveling back in time to the origin of Pokemon? Why doesn't she just find herself a Celebi and do it?
 
When there's a wide shot of the stadium, there's no evidence of anything happening on the field, even though there's *supposed* to be a huge cloud of dust.

The battle announcer...holy crap, Namba got another job!

Cynthia sounds like someone else, but I can't think of who. I was expecting her to have a really low voice.

"TV" was captioned as "tee vee". What?

LOL, one of the random trainers had a valley girl voice. Haven't heard one of those in a while.

Wow, is Team Rocket running a legit business? They always seem to do better when they do things like that.

Hmm. Now Cynthia's sounding like a less-hyper Gardenia.

So, Paul sends out a pokemon he only got a few episodes ago, and yet he had one in reserve that has a TYPE ADVANTAGE? Has he never heard the words "experience share"?

I expected Weavile to have a higher voice. You know, to go with Sneasel's nasally tone.

Murkrow just sounds stupid. The previous voice it at least sounded like a bird.

"Stand by for battle" makes it sound like the battle will be starting soon, rather than immediately after they come out of their balls.

Dynamite Action Squad continues to fail. I mean, I know it's all packaged for boys, but would it kill them to have *one* girl? That isn't a hamster, I mean? And would it kill them to be *funny*?

Speaking of girls, did Torterra sound like a deep-voiced woman to anyone else?

You know, for all Ash and Cynthia know, Paul *could* have a bunch of Max Revives stowed away somewhere.

Croagunk falls for Cynthia? Awesome.

Wait...how does being hit in the HEAD lead to a FEVER? Especially within HALF AN HOUR.

So Paul caught Weavile in Johto, I'm assuming? Aah yes, back when having a Sneasel *meant* something, rather than having them swarming around the city of Snowpoint.

Huh, now Cynthia's sounding like Dawn.

So the tablet has two Legendaries on it and yet has nothing on it about them, but rather a pithy statement about friendship?

And when it does the closeup of her, we can see the first word on the tablet is "friend". And yet she didn't once say that word.

Meowth's line about being the sandman wasn't captioned.

"Dat top 'a da line trainer babe!" Wow Meowth, you haven't even *talked* to her yet!

You know...Chimchar would be better off with Team Rocket than it was with Paul, as we'd later learn.

When Cynthia tells Paul he should spend the night at the center, her shirt is VERY differently cut. Usually it's only low-cut in the middle, but the cut went most of the way down her breasts when she's shown in profile.

I notice they used the phrase "space-time legend". Wasn't that in a Japanese episode title?
 
Very good ep, although they decided to change Paul's perspective on Chimchar, although it makes more sense for what we know to eventually happen.
 
Why do Elite 4 challenge themselves to battle, anyway? Was Lucian Vs. Cynthia meant to be an official battle?

Paul's Pokémon rule. If he's been traveling all that time, then just how old do you think he is?

All in all, I'm totally watching this again!
 
Hmmmmmm. I wanted the 8th movie music to be kept when Toterra and Garchomp were facing off. And Cynthia's voice was great.
 
Just saw it. I loved how Croagunk falls in love with Cynthia. That was great. My bro, who watched it with me and hates Paul was yelling the entire time at him. ("PAUL YOU MORON! SCREW YOU!"). I happen to like Paul, so watching it with my bro was unpleasant.

I liked Paul's strictness with chimchar. it was pretty interesting.

Well, people think that the battle shown on tv in the first episode was Bruno vs Agatha...

I'd imagine Lucian's either challenging her for her spot as Champion, or it's an exhibition match, like the kinds Prima held.


...and blah, I still can't get used to pronouncing it "loo-shen".
