Well, I for one am very excited to see this. It sounds like a good Team Rocket episode. Well, here's the slightly early review thread.

Did they keep the Make a Wish instrumental? Otherwise this episode sucks.

I agree. This should be a good episode!

By the way, looks like you beat me to the review thread, lol. XD

This is looking like the real episode they should hacve started the season with as opposed to the last one.

They kept, "Make a Wish" when James released Cacnea. :D

Pretty great episode, and dubbed well in addition.

Goodbye, Cacnea. Good emotions once again make for a good ep.

This episode was pretty sad, but good aas well. None of the lines really seemed forced or anything.

I liked the part where Gardenia was hugging Cacnea and James said 'get a life'lol. Like a pot calling the kettle a kitchen utensil.

The Motto was pretty good as well. Nice, new, and fresh. Not to mention the elements(wind, earth, sky) was used rather nicely.

Dawn was acting like a jerk in this episode. She wanted to actually not help James train. Well, honey you sould be training if you don't want ot lose any more contests.

I liked how Cacnea was training for drain Punch with Carnivine.

I felt so sorry for James when he was sitting in the sunset. He needs to get some more confidence, it was almost heart-wrenching.

Overall, very dramatic episode.

Jimmy Zoppi was amazing in this episod. He really knew how to bring out James' sad side. Something Eric Stuart probably has never done. It was reall convincing.

Make A Wish. Yay. :D

I laughed when the twerps went "Awww" at Team Rocket's plight. XD Always love it when the twerps and TRio work together. Funny how Ash was willing to help them, he's usually the most distrustful of Team Rocket.

So, so glad Team Rocket wasn't up to any villainy aside from the very beginning when all they did was jump out from behind bushes and release their Pokémon.

All right, I was hoping for a Cacnea flashback. Short as it was, it was sweet to see James's and Cacnea's first encounter.

Gardenia's pretty rude. She was practically screaming "Hey, I want to take your Pokémon! Gimme gimme gimme!"

Poor Cacnea! It got beat up real good, didn't it? Aipom continuing to wear her creepy smile after beating the crap out of Cacnea freaked me out a bit.

OMG.
The voice acting for this episode was phenomenal. James was really emotional. Dawn's a bit of a @#$!, isn't she? "If Cacnea learns drain punch, we might regret it..." Bull crap.
No matter how strong TR gets, the twerps will ALWAYS beat them. It's a fact of nature.

Well actually, there were a few time they won but...

ANYWAYS!

Is is just me, or did they keep a silent scene in the begining? Go PUSA! And they kept the music for when Cacnea left. I'm starting to like PUSA more and more...

I noticed that smile too. I was like 'You monster, you're the only one in the area smiling about beating a poor little cactus'.

I wonder if James gets Cacnea back, if it would hug him again or evolve into a Cacturne.

The opening was better than the old rap. TR didnt blast off this time (they do too much) I cried at the part when James gave away cacnea. It was a good episode overall.
Ash sounded more Ash-y. James didnt sound right but he showed emotion well.

...

Can you imagine James with a Cacturne?
*shudders*

Maybe I'm just being nostalgic of Harley.

What did they have the kids call James? They called Kojiro Kosanji in the original version, which is actually the wrong name for Kosaburo (Butch)

I think they called him "Old man." I thought it was amusing, because Jessie is usually the butt of the "old" jokes XD

Aipom was smiling the whole time it was beating up Cacnea. But Aipom has like a permanent smile on its face, so go figure.

It did seem funny that Dawn was the only one who didn't want them to help train Cacnea, but given that she hasn't known TR as long as Ash/Brock have its easy to see why.
