Yay for me making another review thread=D. Anyways,people have been getting all riled up about this episode.

Anyway, that's okay. I don't blame you for starting the review thread early. This should be a very good episode! =D

And I'm interested in seeing how they will explain things. ^^


EDIT: LOL at Ash hating the taste of the medicine! It's all yucky! XD

Haha, great ep. Poor James is still all depressed XD

I don't see why people hate this trade so much. The pokemon REALLY work better for eachother with the trade. Zoey was the only one perceptive enough to realize it XD Though even without her suggesting I think the trade would have happened sooner or later. It's not like the two pokemon are leaving far from the original trainers either XD
 
Isn't Kenny only supposed to have one ribbon at this point? As right as Zoey is, she is still an insufferable busybody. TR trying to make James feel better, nice continuity. Wobbuffet uses a fake voice. Very nice.
 
Nice dramatic scene at the beginning...nearly ruined by a comic sound effect. Seriously, when James lowers his head, it's accompanied by a "Waaaah!" sound effect that completely wrecks the mood.

Eesh, stupid scrolling captions. But...wait just a second. It captioned Zoey as "boy" when she talked off screen. I know she's somewhat macho, but DAMN.

It dawned on me...Ash is acted like a bad Tracey impression, what with the overenunciation on ever other syllable, like how Tracey used to do. (note, this isn't a comparasion to "a 4Kids VA" but rather because Tracey's the only character in any series I can think of who talks like that)

Aipom's tail...did it extend like Hitmonlee's leg? Because it got *really* long just now.

There! During Swift--did it again!

The two of them seemed to go into this awfully quickly. They head to the trade machine not five minutes after Zoey suggested the trade.

Speaking of ruining the moment, when Jesse tells James they're doing it for him, the "funny tears" kinda ruin any sort of touchingness the scene would otherwise have.

Motto rose! When was the last time we saw that?

When James is getting emotional, his voice is WAY too quiet for his animation, which implies that he's shouting. But his voice is practically whispering

"What power!" ...Ash, that's Sonic Boom.

When TR blasts off, the sky is particularly badly drawn. I could MS Paint better clouds than that!

Anyway, that was it? That was the big controversy? That was NOTHING! You people overreact to the silliest things.
 
For a Kinoshita episode, this animation was good. I liked how they added the continuity with James missing Cacnea adn all. I also liked how James ruined Jessie's adn Meowht's disguises. Oh, Wobuffer's fake voice surprised me and had me lol for a bit.

What I didn't like is that they used the same motto from episode 3 of DP(It's not used much, so it didn't bother me that bad.) I also didn't like how Zoey was rude about Team Rocket Pseudo reuniting. I mean they just lost Cacnea which nearly caused James to lose his self-esteem and you act like that. Pshaw

James had self-esteem anywhere since Johto?

Also, she didn't know about Cacnea, did she? Forgive me, I couldn't see last week's ep, but I don't think she was in it.

Anyway, despite me being disgusted by this ep back then, I feel it really needed to happen since it was really for the better, in a way. Those two seemed to fit together more than before, but there's a part of me that wished that they were together since day one.

Eh, I'm just glad that Ash has Buizel now, but yeah, it should have been his since the first capture ep.
 
The episode was very amusing!
I liked Wobba's fake voice and the part with the nasty medicine!
I agree that the trade needed to happen for the good of both the pokemon and their trainers!

What did Zoey do that was wrong? Zoey knew nothing about Cacnea, and only that TR was trying to steal pokemon again, and one of the ones they were trying to steal after the mix-up was her pokemon. TR may not be all bad, and they may be sympathetic characters who never win, but they still are trying to steal pokemon. I honestly have no idea what you expect from people.


Now, on to my thoughts.

The trade actually seemed completely reasonable to me. I think it was in the best interests of both of the Pokemon that they both get to do what they really want to do.

Despite what I might feel, I don't think the complaining about the trade is ever going to stop.
 
I mean, I understand her reaction and everything. But it was thewayshe said it as opposed to what she said. What I'm saying is that she could have been a less arrorgant in what she said.

I know seriously XD All she did was say something like "HEY GUYS YOU'RE JUST HERE TO TAKE OUR POKEMON )<" nothing ash or dawn or brock hav't said something similar to in the past XD my god. I have no beef with sounding rue to team rocket, even if they are funny.

This episode doesn't greater my opinion of Zoey. It's obvious that she has more common sense than the twerp gang, but you know, she's still a nosy little ---.

But I have to agree with her about going to a pharmacist. Isn't mixing medicines dangerous...and illegal?

Aah! I missed the first part of it before the theme song! Grrr, I really wanted to see that :(

It's nice to show Jessie and Meowth actually caring for James. Since the Chimeco episode, their relationship as CARING friends have been less than perfect :( (or was it even before that? Who knows.)

The trade was reasonable, but I kinda miss Aipom being with Ash. They've been through so much...
 
Why does the music seem so low now? I heard Dawn's theme playing but the voices muffled it out.

Hey, PUSA lurkers, can you please make the music louder? Ever since Season 11 started the music seems to be faded because of the voices.

The episode was good. But they STILL need to use a trade machine? I thought they would break from the game a bit this time... Oh well.
Is it just me or did Ash sound monotone when he was reacting to the medication?
 
I'm so glad they used that old trade machine XD I was happy to see that ol thing pop up again!

well golly! Next time I see my FRIENDS obviously needing some help, or if I get an idea that could possibly help the PEOPLE I AM INVOLVED WITH, I better just keep my mouth shut or else I might be called a nosey little....well, I guess if you're not part of the "main trio" you can ONLY be counted as some stranger getting into other stranger's business, rather than a close friend trying to help D|

Why couldn't they just hand the pokeballs to eachother? Nurse Joy didn't need to be involved. The dub made it sound like they were never gonna trade back IMO. Poor Dawn, she really thinks she's gonna win her next contest =/
 
Ash and Dawn aren't going to trade back, most likely. Even at the end of D/P when Dawn might stop traveling with Ash, she'll take Ambipom with her.

I think they have to use the machine to officially register the pokemon to the new trainer in the League records or what-have-you.

And, um, what makes you think they ever *will* trade back? I mean, not that they couldn't, but there's nothing to indicate that they would.
