It is here, the beginning of the Wallace Cup and May's return.

I don't like how the big events are always right where the group happens to be. They kept Pachi's voice this time. Jessie seems to have recovered quickly.

But if the group won't be lucky to get into these events than the show would be boring (also- it's this way in almost/any cartoon)
And Jessie seemed sad at the beginning of the Raichu episode

They kept the Sinnoh Now logo instead of changing it again... Okay, now I'm convinced the editors frequent Dogasu's Backpack.

That's a cool-looking Pokémon Center.

Wait, the Sinnoh Now logo means the Sinnoh Now crew! Yay, finally! XD I love Jack struggling with the mic in the background as Rhonda goes on about Wallace.

Pikachu spinning its tail was unexpected. Mmm, I'm all for some more varation in Pikachu battles.

Oh Arceus, are James and Meowth going to obsess over Jessie beating them up at every Contest from here on out? I hate that so much. Way not to be supportive, guys.

That's some neat music playing when the twerps first see Milotic and Wallace.

What did Meowth call Milotic? "As soft as a baby button bumper"? Why does half of TR's dialogue make no sense these days? >.>

Aaaaaand Rhonda's bitch rant was what led to her being hit. Lmao, I love these guys.

I got chills when May appeared. o.o I knew it was coming, but still. I'm so looking foward to her rejoining the group for a few episodes.

Wow, Wallace is a manly man. *can't stop laughing*

Jessie's cooing over Wallace I could have lived without, but Jessie's want of Aqua Ring was a nostalgic point back to her first contest with Seviper, and commanding it to use Sacred Fire. James and Meowth should have stepped in sooner though, and saved us some pain.

'Baby's bottom bumper'. Meaning a baby's butt. The expression is 'soft as a baby's bottom'.

I think they dubbed it in the Dustox one. It takes more than a couple of days for someone to get over saying goodbye to a good friend.

Good animation in this episode. I liked the wacky animation.

Wow, they actually kept the same made up language text

I liked how Gligar just once again crushed Ash

Dawn's attacks were fine until Zoey seemed to jinx things up

I find it interesting how Wallace travels through Hoenn and Kanto and they never met

And of course Rhonda and the microphone agaion lol

I liked how Jessie tributed to Dustox. Good for her

Dawn is SUCH a Wallace fangirl.

Wallace seems to be thinking the same thing most fans are thinking about Piplup. And he even tells her to PLAY with her other Pokemon

Jessalina is such a fangirl too, heh.

I like how they're all dressed in their 'classical' contest outfits.

And Milotic looks awesome when it was doing its attacks

And Wallacw just shot down Jessie's hopes and dreams of doing those attacks LOL

That just sucks bad that the camera battery happened to be out

All in all, good episode.

Wow, so May is gonna come back for a while?!

I really liked this episode. Everything felt very natural. It's also cool Dawn got to meet Wallace. I'm guessing this Wallace Cup thing will be a couple episodes right?

Actually, it's "soft as a baby buggy bumper." Ever hear the tongue twister "rubber baby buggy bumpers"? That's where it came from, I would think.

Rubber... baby... bumper... condom? *shot*

Did anyone else like Dawn thinking about how great of a Trainer Ash is? We got that kind of stuff a lot more often with May, and it's nice to see Dawn reflect on how much more experienced Ash is than her.

Also, I laugh every time Gligar tackles Ash. It's adorable!

This was the first episode where I've really noticed the stiff animation in the show. When Dawn is asked to perform in front of Wallace, she stands there, mouth a-gape for at least ten seconds ._.;

I guess PUSA agreed with Dogasu, because they kept the Sinnoh Now logo this time. Or maybe it was just too hard to edit. Whatever.

I liked their choice for Wallace (Sean Reyes I believe). It was better than a fake accent that I would have expected out of 4Kids.

It's episodes like these that make me wish I wasn't spoiled so much as to what happens in the series. May's return would have had a larger impact if I hadn't known about it previously...

I got a chuckle out of Meowth's "back in the box, lady." It's strange, even when something is inherently funny (like the upcoming Croagunk festival episode), it doesn't usually get a laugh out of me.

Overall I really liked this episode.

PUSA did a good job musically, except for one scene - when Wallace and Milotic performed for Ash and crew. They used one of their typical battle pieces, which really clashed against the majesty of the whole thing. Other than that, about six pieces of music were kept, which is more or less standard for a season 11 episode. I was especially surprised that they kept the piece when Ash and Dawn first see Wallace. It was really nice.

And I'm convinced at this point that PUSA is OK with silence being used. There were two notable spots of silence - when Rhonda is talking to Ash, and also when Wallace leaves near the end - and plenty of other second bits here and there. Their composition is really improving, I must say.

And Pachirisu kept its Japanese voice! I guess Crossing Paths was just a one-time incident.

You mean until Dawn remembers the GOOD advice Zoey told her and understand that what she's doing now isn't good

It may be good, but it seems as though every time she remembers, or sees Zoey she seems to be a lot more nervous and mess up. THAT is what I'm getting at.

I was going to wait for the second page to pop up, but this thing is surprisingly not as active as I usually see it.

Unchanged Sinnoh Now logo? o.o We haven't heard that music since DP01. Wallace: Show me your moves! XD, the dub recognized Bui has never been in a contest. XD, the TV crew always makes things good. Good ep.

We haven't heard that music since DP01.
The Route 201 music? It's been used pretty frequently. The last I specifically remember was in "Hot Springing a Leak" when Dawn and Leona meet again.

The music that played when they met Wallace. It was the same music that played during Dawn's encounter with Mesprit.

Unchanged Shin'ou Now! logo? Whoo-hoo!

And, as I suspected...no one really cares that the screen was filled with a language that nobody can read. The idea that PUSA "had" to change the logo the first time around was ridiculous, and I'm happy to hear that they've apparently changed their minds about it.

Though if PUSA really was reading my site, they'd be trying to get more Japanese background music into the show :p
