Mmmmm...turnover...

...what? I can't be the only one who thought that, can I? That, coupled with the propensity of artists (both fan and official alike, if you count the card game 4Koma comics to be "official) to associate the Galactics with Tasty Desserts, makes me think that this will be a delicious episode.
Or you know, the fact that I still wish to make sweet love down by the fire to the first part.


SO HOW WILL JUPITER SOUND? The last agent to get a voice (besides Pluto because he has yet to talk on the show, given that he's so far only been seen from the back for a second), and one of the most anticipated. I'm hoping for something low. Apparently she sounds like a little kid in Japanese, if I'm reading the people on Serebii right. And that can't be, given that she's probably the oldest of the Commanders (...unless I've been swayed by DPA!, where she looks like she could easily be around five years older than Cyrus).

So things are about to go crazy-go-nuts. Like moreso. But with the Freaky Hair Cult skulking about, could we expect any less?

Oh yeah JJ&M, take the orb when you're surrounded by cops AND Galactic agents! That's *really* smart.

So when they're parading the orb through the room, Cyrus isn't looking at *anyone*. He's staring off into space. It's very strange.

Is it just me or does he not make eye contact when Cynthia's talking to him? He doesn't even seem to be looking at her at ALL, more of right PAST her.

Awww man, Jupiter sounds like a teenager! Where's the husky voice I dreamed offfff????

Oh yeah, because medicine's so going to help Croagunk after getting STABBED.

"As you ALL go into the future"--if I didn't know any better I'd say Cynthia had plans for Dialga herself.

You know, it occurs to me that Brodie would have been miles away with the orb by now.

FFF WHAT. You want to go back into the ruins with the thing?!?!

FINALLY someone picks up on the threat in the words "new world"! And Cynthia realizes that they don't mean figuratively! That puts her ahead of pretty much every single character in the games, including her gameverse counterpart. Because holy crap, Cyrus basically lays out his plan to you the second he starts talking but no one seems to think he means a LITERALLY new world until the Spear Pillar.

Joy giving a prescription? That's new. "A challenge like none before?" You should see TA and TM, but I will agree TG is more intense than both of them combined. TG has control of the Ironworks? Hunter J is going to be in on this? This is awesome! There wasn't much to this ep itself, but it still makes me want to see more.
 
Good animation, like always for Shimuera. It would have been a bit better if she did the 1st episode.

Anyways, the battle looks pretty good. Like how everyone is going all out.

'Cover me Dawn', that sounded a little weird coming out of Ash.

Lol, Jessie's right, they don't have any lives.

Meowth sounded a little forced with that threat.

I'm still surprised Team Galatic let Team Rocket get away.

Are they fashion freaks or fashionable, make up your mind Team Rocket.

Never knew the Spear Key can be used like that.

OMG, Mime.Jr is alive for one second of this episode....

Good thing Cyntheia knows the gravity of the situation.

Hmm, Team Rocket is taking the whole Lustrous Orb bribing schtick and sticking with it.

eeek, that was seriously creepy with Cyrus getting so mad. Especially with the red eyes.

And NOBODY except Cyntheia seems to realize Cyrus is creepy and part of Team Galatic. Especially with his rage about the orbs, and his seeming to call the Golbat to attack TR.

Heh, Saturn got verbally bitch-slapped.

Cyrus only seems to put on an emotionless front to his subordinates. Interesting.

It's so weird seeing him in his uniform especially after seeing him in a regular suit.


This was a good episode, can't wait to see how this plot turns out.

Cyrus, really ... Giovanni would NEVER have screwed up his cover THAT badly. Grr....

What is Cynthia's deal? At the Pokemon Center when she's talking to Ash about him and Paul, I was half expecting her to say they were lovers or something in the future. :p

Note to self: Do not anger Cyrus. Damn, he gets scary when he's made. What with all the flames and all.

What's with all the bad guys having a crapload of Golbat. I mean, have they been breeding or something, because I don't remember this many in the Veilstone episodes.

They kept so many references too. This pretty much confirms that Hunter J is coming back for at least one more go at it, and they actually mention the Fuego Ironworks. I'm very interested in seeing where the plot goes. It's setting up to be a whole lot better than the Aqua/Magma gaffe in Hoenn.

But what I would've loved to have seen in the Pokemon Center was Brock to start flirting, only to have Croagunk sit up, Poison Jab him, and lay back down. But that's just me.

Overall, a good episode.
 
I haven't been following the show lately but I made special effort to see both these episodes, and I'm glad I did.

I'm not sure if the music in this episode was original or PUSA's. If it's the latter, they did an incredible job.

However, I have to agree the voices for Mars and Jupiter don't sound right.

These episodes were great. They were well written and well animated. I also like how Team Galactic is shown as such a threat. Despite their late arrival, they have proven to be a force to be feared. I just hope they get a proper conclusion, unlike Aqua/Magma.
 
You know, it occurs to me...Cyrus's faint southern drawl was hardly noticible this episode. Can Sean not keep that up when he's screaming? Were we hearing things? Did they record on different days and he couldn't remember he had done it?

Very strange.

And what's this? TG's allies with the Hunters?! ...I wonder if there's more than just J. Just for a change of pace.

And when did they get Fuego Ironworks under their control?
 
Don't understand how that first move Gastrodon used was Stone-Edge. If anything, it looked more like Hidden Power-Rock.

Besides that, liked the episode and the possibility of Hunter J returning.

I'm sure you all know how much I love Nyasu, and I love Garfield even more so having my two favorite kitty cats mentioned at the same time made me :crush: even if PUSA didn't intend it.

Or maybe it's the flu I still have talking...

Anyway, I loved how Team Rocket got to act like real bad guys for once. And Carnivine holding the orb was both awesome and hilarious at the same time. However, their goofiness really stuck out in this episode. PUSA needs to realize that they need to tone it down in episodes like this.

And hooray for Cyrus actually sounding evil! It's usually so hard to take anyone in the dub seriously, but Cyrus actually sounds like a legitimate threat.
