Aaron gets a nice voice. Ummm...there's only one problem with that, TR. People would expect proof that they're pokemon belonging to an E4, and advertising so would lead the E4 straight to you. Daggit, Ash, stop trying to copy trainers that are stronger than you. Hello, deus ex Beedrill, we missed you. Wait a sec, a Wurmple can carry a human? Awww, Butterfree flashback. Ledian o.o An elite pokemon being hit by TR's pokes? Blasphemy! Ash: That's the only way I roll. I never thought I would hear him say that. That was pretty good, but it was true, Aaron's pokes do seem a bit weaker than other elites we've seen.

See, Ash does have a memory and think about his old Pokémon. Ooh, look, he just said he was willing to join the Elite Four someday.

Isn't this Skorupi's first appearance? It didn't do too much.

Just noticing, they use quite a bit of silence nowadays. Has anyone been keeping a music count lately?
 
It was a nice episode. Two Elite Four members down, two more to go. I like how they gave Aaron some backstory, you know, being a crybaby and stuff. The animation was really... lacking, though. PUSA did a good job music wise, but their own music wasn't as good as usual. It was a nice episode, and I can't wait for the next!

If you want to keep the TR Snooping Theme as two since it stops, then this episode kept 10 pieces. "If the Scarf Fits, Wear It!" kept 12(even replacing one with silence). None of the past 10 episodes(including this one) have kept less than 6 pieces. That may not seem like much, but it shows we've come a long way.

I wish they didn't rehash the whole Wurmple plot with Aaron, didn't they do that enough before?

I'm baffled at how honey candy got changed to syrup. Since when is syrup that golden? The last few episodes were pretty well dubbed IMO, so I guess PUSA has a few writers on their staff. Whoever is responsible for this one needs to stay far far away from Team Rocket episodes.

Aside from Team Rocket's crap, this was a pretty good episode. It was cool seeing an Elite 4 member, but his story wasn't anything we haven't seen before.

Seviper and Carnivine taking down two of his pokemon was a big highlight for me.

So by that you mean you speak fluent Japanese and can personally compare the original to the dub to see exactly what the differences are, or if they really mattered much at all? If you can't back it up, don't post potential flamebait like this.
 
That's still much browner than what we saw. Heck, it wasn't brown period.
 
Well he IS the most recent one they met. (Cynthia is the Champion, not an Elite Four member.)
 
This was kind of a boring episode. Aaron didn't really do anything that exciting and it still makes me lol at the fact that it seems extremely strong pokémon are totally defenseless without their trainer.

Aaron was a jerk, though. :(

I wasn't comparing it to the Japanese verison. I was just saying it was dubbed lazily. Don't attack me. :sweat:
 
Which you can't prove unless you know Japanese or have a transcript or sub of the episode.
 
This episode bored me. The plot was just boring. Aaron just seemed like a regular run-of-the-mill character of the day to me. :/
