I read somewhere in this forum that it might be jamie mcgonnigal, but I might be wrong it could be a different guy...or girl, it is a guy that does his dub voice right?

Good animation this episode has.

Wow, Barry sounds interesting, his voice is a bit high but fits him.

Fantina again, and she doesn't bat Brock an eye.

Lol, so Barry loves Paul, thinks Ash traded Chimchar, and doesn't even know who Dawn and Ash are.

Like how he does that whole watch thing too.

I love how Wobuffet sang along wwith Team Rocket's chant.

Lot's of stock footage with their motto, though I loved the way they showed the elements.

yay for Barry interrupting stock footage motto.

Well, Seviper seems to be getting more screentime than Yanmega for some reason, though not much more.

It seems a bit aggresive too for some reason.

Good to know Cacnea actually learned drain punch.

I loved Barry's reaction to James' weird question.

Wow, Shimuera seems to be doing the batlles really well for some reason, they look real good in thisb episode. Can't wait til next week's battle.

Awkward place to end the episode.

I knew Pikachu was going to go last.

A lot of great music has been playing in this episode.

Ash seems to dislike Jun aa bit more than Paul for some reason.

Great, action-packed episode.
 
Barry's a pretty cool dude, eh he's hyper, energetic, and owns things with his search for powerful pokemon. His lines are like, amazing. Isn't he about the same age as Ash.

Yay that James' Cacnea is still kicking, and being cool with its Drain Punch.

Funny how Hydro Cannon doesn't need a charge time. I suppose anime logic's at its max these days. ... Is what I would say, if Hyper Beam didn't need the resting period. I guess the anime has a bias for Normal moves.

All in all, it was a nice episode, it's even been a while since I been to these forums. ;P

Wow...I'm actually amused. XD, Fantina pwned Brock by herself. Where did Fantina say he is from? Ash! No! Overdramatic, much? Oh, Twinleaf, duh. o.o A new poketch design? Was Ash as reckless as Barry in the original seasons? If it is possible to be more reckless, than this is it. I was expecting Barry to interrupt them sooner. This is not the voice I expected for Empoleon. Cacnea reference. Hyper Beam? Sigh... What, Barry!? Ugh, why does nobody understand how to properly care for pokemon. Another Staraptor? The anime loves this pokemon. Of course. I don't know about you, but Ash didn't seem to be battling as he usually does. Nice introduction to Barry, but suffering from arrogant rival syndrome. I hope he gets redeemed in the next few eps.
 
Props for Barry being just as exhausting in English as he is in Japanese. Wow, omg. He fanboys Paul so hard, he's BLIND to Paul's methods, which is why I want to properly smack him.

What I realize today is I'm no fan of the idea that a bigger a pokémon gets, the deeper its voice must get. That's such a crock and so lame, it's embarrassing on a pokémon like Empoleon (majesty, man, lookit that thing! It deserves an A-game). However, making it say 'Po' instead of 'Pol'.../perhaps/ I can can look over the depth.

Er, well, it IS scientifically accurate...the larger a being gets, the larger its mouth cavity is and the longer its vocal cords are, leading to deeper pitch and resonance...

Okay, I'll stop now.
 
I'm going with eh. Barry freaked me out but in a cool way. The vi=oice suprised me though.

It's good seeing that most of the music in the episode is played (including the ones from the third movie short).
It seems the characters are pronouncing Empoleon with emphasis on the "Eon" instead of the way to address Napoleon.

I suppose only the Announcer in PBR does it, since I've always heard Empoleon said the way they say it in the anime all the time, strange.

Barry was handled well, but it figures "NANDAIYO NANDAIYO NADATTENDAIYO" would be translated incorrectly/not translated at all. I hope it hits the writers too that "NANDAIYO NANDAIYO NADATTENDAIYO" is as much Jun's trademark as "daijoubu~" is for Hikari.

As much as I am a Jun fangirl I can't deny that Barry has a soft spot too, even though they technically are the same character. I miss the name Damion though and would definitely prefer that... T_________T

I am never going to understand why the dubbers would dub Roserade, even though in the original it's Roserade as well...
