Well... my fourth review thread in a row, and the episode comes on in 10 minutes. Gosh, why does Chaotic have to copy Pokemon (as in the principal's son being named Paul)? The thing feels like it goes on for, like, seven hours!

We start off again with dub music....

What happened to the title card? It just stopped right there.

The battle's going on, and Ash says "Here's the Pokemon I'm gonna use!" =|

That's Valley Windworks!? It looks different...

LOL PEARLSHIPPING MOMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Old man is Benjamin.

Lyra's...got a bit of an obnoxious arrogance to her. o_o Superiority complex. Whatever.

Did we do the Fuego Ironworks? *dun remember* Because this place so should have been that.

Eh. Rivalry is practically tacked on.

EDIT: ...Yep. Khoury is screwed with Lyra for a friend.

*snort* Oh my god, everyone's over THAT bit? And Khoury's /out/? Yeah, Koury is so screwed being her friend.

WOBBUFFET DOES SOMETHING OMG!! 8D

*facepalm* Oh jeez, Lyra.

Oh jeez, Ash. x_x This is why I hate you soooo much. *sigh*

<.< No such talk, Meron. Thank you.

EDIT: ...What is this, math class? ...What, what, JESUS! LYRA. >\ You're not being likable anymore. I'm so glad I'm choosing the boy. Maybe I'll name him Khoury and just piss you right off.

o_O Huh on Whirlpool's execution.

Rivalry is very tacked on.

Macargo mecha's kinda of cool. ^_^

LYRA. >_< WTF.

It comes a little later, which, if you've been actively reading ahead for spoilers, plays a big part in the story.

Nice VA work all around. It's a filler episode but one that extends the life of Lyra and Khoury just a tiny bit.

Ugh, the hair and nails thing returns (except without the nails part). *facepalm* Aside from that, nothing unexpected and whatever, though I still love Kotone's "Since it's an egg I gave you, you know it's a sweetie pie". x3

As for Hikari, ugh, no. I forgot about this but, yeah. Don't put Cyndaquil back in its pokéball, put Piplup because Piplup's the one trying to find ways to annoy Cyndaquil. :| Don't encourage Piplup, geez.

Gonna edit later once I have a post up on my blog. :p

edit: Here's the post. click~ (And so people don't say this again, it's a wordpress blog, not the ones here. :p)

Unrelated, but I laughed at my images. All but one has Kotone in them. xD

Mmm, thank you for sounding condescending while you're at it, because everyone follows every little spoiler. And if I had been, I wouldn't have asked such a question, now would I?

*sigh* *snuggles Khoury* Don't worry, it gets better. You'll catch a Gible, outdo Ash, and you'll be right as rain in the years to come.

EDIT: WHY is this in the review section? >_< It doesn't belong here so soon, or upon creation!

Did that sound condescending? Sorry, it didn't mean to. Must be the way I type.

I purposely didn't say how or when it comes into play, just that it does. I have no clue who follows and who doesn't follow spoilers here.

You could have just said, "Nah, they're featuring that later." Hinting at its importance is a spoiler itself, if it's a major location being used.

....Alrighty then.

Hey you know, they're featuring the Fuego Ironworks later!

Oh, really? 8O Okay! So is this the same Valley works or...well, no, I suppose it would be, seeing as they need to hit Coronet eventually.

Well that was a decent episode. I hope that damned Marill stays out of trouble from now on. The battle at the start was pretty good - though any battle that uses the G/S champion theme is always win. I thought Cyndaquil knowing Swift was interesting, the animators must've missed the CGI stars after Ambipom left.

After the initial battle, the episode descended into pretty pointless filler. Not bad filler, though. The Piplup/Cyndaquil bickering was fun.

Yeah, I'd best describe it as a ''cute'' episode. I like how Dawn's Cyndaquil is like Ash's. Be cool if the two of them met. The practice battle between Grotle and Cyndaquil was nice. Still, probably not the episode I'm gonna remember Lyra and Koury for.

Next week.....It's gible time.

Sheesh. Every girl on this show was so annoying today. Lyra got on what's his name's case all day, and Jessie keeps complaining about her stupid hair. The last one doesn't even make sense since it only takes two seconds to fix. I don't know why she makes it sounds like it takes forever.

And Dawn? Please learn how to control your Pokemon. Just sighing as they fight isn't a good solution to this problem.

On the up side, Cyndaquil is quite the little battler. It'll be fun to see it in a Contest.

This music again....

Valley Windworks?! THAT'S Valley Windworks? Oh...I see windmills..

Back to the sleeping bubble..you never see that in the Pokemon anime...

Team Rocket..yada yada yada...

OHNOEZ!! The electricity!!!! They're all locked in!!

Yeah, wave at the camera so the SLEEPING man will notice you.

Yes, Brock, that's a vent. Good job.

Ash is NEVER gonna fit through that.

I'm not a PearlShipper, but that's FUNNY. GET OFF OF HIM, HE'S MINE!!!

Yes, send Pikachu. Good idea!

Fighting again..

Okay, how did the TRio hide...in the wallpaper??

Yeah, Whirlpool! Drown them to death!

OMG Wobbuffet did something!!

Power outage once again....THE DOOR OPENED!! YAY!!

They get out, all is safe....wait...WHAT'S THAT?? Magcargo never even had an appearance in the anime for a long time...

WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!!!

^My commentary.

Lawnmowergirl's personal thoughts on "Gone With The Windworks".

...my first thought:
Which animator is this?
I thought I recognized the indescribable laziness-when-the-characters-are-in-repose, but I looked at some of the other episodes animated by Shimura-san, and I have come to no conclusion on my opinion of her as an animator. Not exactly my favorite, but I'm not going to do any bashing here. It's just not my thing.

...my next thought:
Wow. Cyndaquil is one bad-ass newborn.
But nobody ever let Togepi battle. But Cyndaquil is fighting like the day after it hatches. Why did nobody ever let Togepi battle? They were always like, "No, Misty. Togepi can't battle yet! It's only a baby!". And yet they encourage Dawn to have her recently-hatched Cyndaquil battle?
I'm scratching my head here, honestly.

...another thought:
Wow, Piplup sure is jealous, isn't it?
I actually really got a good laugh out of the random fights breaking out between Piplup and Cyndaquil.

...and another thought:
Lyra + other human beings + inability to escape = awkward conversations.
I don't care what you say, it's not really PearlShippy. Dawn denied it. I won't bash you PearlShippers,I like your ship quite a bit, but please don't try and use Lyra's nosy questions as decisive evidence. No evidence in Pokemon is ever decisive. Ever. We must learn to take things with a grain of salt. Even RocketShippers like me need to be a bit skeptical, in my opinion.

...more thoughts:
When Lyra said Khoury was out of the question, did she mean for herself (meaning anti-JohtoFestaShipping evidence) or for Dawn (meaning JohtoFestaShipping evidence)?
I'm not sure I managed to catch the exact wording of the beginning of that sentence.

...random miscellaneous thoughts:
Wow. That guard should get fired for sleeping on the job.
Jessie looks prettier when her hair is down like that (like when it gets wet).
Proof that I have a sick, twisted mind: I took Khoury saying "Man, that Lyra always comes out on top" as a double entendre.

*copied that out of my own blog XD*

Seeing this ep in English is just as confusing as seeing the pics of the raw. I guess I shouldn't question how a newly hatched Cynda is so powerful. I still say Piplup's the bigger jerk between them. Shipping galore here. I think Jessie said Shazam. o.o Seeing Cynda in action is the best part of this ep, the rest is bleh. :p

You are all aware that Ash let Grotle get hit by Cyndaquil and he wasn't trying?

Ash was probably being nice so Dawn could use all of Cyndaquil's attacks, and because it is newly hatched.
