One more shippy scene, and we're LITERALLY gonna kick you out of the show. Without Khoury, your boyfriend. HA!

Khoury, why do you have a stethoscope?

Since when is Khoury heroic?

I loved the episode! I just really hate Gible's voice

I thought Lyra's shippy comments were funny.

Also thought that when She was being knocked around by Gible was pretty funny. "Ow that hurt!" lol

Doesn't Lyra make everything better?

I thought the part where they fished up piplup was pretty funny too.
 
Yes, there is really no other way to pronounce Gible unless you pronounce it as "Gaible" or something.

Anyways, quick comments on this episode:

-Aside from the cave stuff, shipping moments were meh.
-And on the cave scenes, OMG DAAAAAAWWWWWW~ ♥
-For whatever reason, Kotone's "There! Now over there! Ah, it's chasing us!" didn't bother me as much in Japanese as it did in English. Not sure why.
-Piplup needs to stop wandering around, geez.
-Kotone's face, omg Kotone's face. xD
-WHY DIDN'T YOU HAVE THESE SKILLS AND THIS CONFIDENCE TWO EPISODES AGO KAZUNARI. >T Or at least SOME of that confidence, geez.
-Team Rocket spares us from more hair and nails related dub changes (I think, I didn't hear any)

So that's it. :3
 
I found this episode really boring. I didn't really care about any of that shipping stuff and would rather they focused more on that strong Gible. That thing was actually scary, which was a refreshing change of pace.

Really not looking forward to next week. I just don't like the episode, and I'm afraid that the dub will just make it worse.
 
It was an okay episode, I think it's non focal point however was better than what it actually was supposed to be about aka Gible.

I loved the matchmaking scene with Lyra if only because it was hilarious to see Dawn's reaction to the whole thing.

Shame Monferno didn't do very much but I did love it digging a lot of holes in under a few seconds.

I didn't like Gible's move set very well, and I'm glad Ash didn't catch it, Khoury can have this one.
 
As far as that moveset is concerned...
the Gible Ash eventually catches will also know Rock Smash.

I was referring to Strength and Sandstorm, they're not very good moves in my opinion, at least for Gible I mean.

-I don't see why Brock needed to be Poison Jabbed that time. I think asking her to dinner would be the least insane way he could go about this. Oh well, he still was being pretty obnoxious.

-There goes Lyra, near-arbitrarily pairing the other characters all the time. Luckily there's no one like that in real life, right?

-Thank you, Ash, for telling us what those attacks were.

-Dawn still puts up with Lyra not knowing her name. Yaknow, if a kid started watching this show right now, (s)he would probably think her name's not Dawn.

-There goes Meowth fantasizing about Giovanni being half-naked again. Hey, Meowth, how about "Gibles are rare and evolve into very powerful Pokémon." Why can't they try to catch "rare and valuable Pokémon," as Giovanni said in the first season? Oh, right, not every Pokémon of the day is rare or even useful without Meowth coming up with some stupid use for it.

-Finally, Buizel gets some action. How many episodes has it been?

-Oh, GOD, Piplup. Where the heck is that hook?! *shivers*

-I'm still amused by them taking the whole "land shark" thing this far. I think it's funny.

-Aqua Tail looks kind of silly.

-Again with Piplup being hooked God-only-knows-where. I will admit it's kind of funny.

-Aww, Piplup is cute this episode, not annoying. Just sitting there eating a Poffin...

-Don't just stand there, Lyra, do something.

-Wow, Diglett have different voices. Have they even shown up in the last decade?

-Brock Jr.

-Team Rocket still can't catch a break, even when they're not doing anything wrong. Oh well, at least they didn't interfere with the plot like they usually do.

I'd say that was a pretty solid episode. I enjoyed it.

Because when has a pokémon never made the best use of its moves, no matter what they are?

Why are we anime-game comparing, when we know its futile and a long-dead horse?
 
I thought the way Lyra kept paring characters got old. I also don't excactly know how that fishing hook got in Piplup's...
 
This was a meh episode to me. The only thing that really was accomplished whas that Khoury caught a Gible. As far as how much Japanese music was kept this week only a measly 5 pieces, and they were:

-Piece from the beginning of Pikachu and Pichu
-Kanto Run Away Music (Remix from one of the movies)
-TR Sneaking Music Remix
-Kanto Wild Pokemon Battle
-Piece after Lyra falls after Gible breaks the rock she was standing on (I think it comes from one of the movies)
 
In this episode: Khoury mans the fuck up.
Would be nice if he and his Gible came back to show the contrast between his Gible and Ash's Gible's personalities. Khoury!Gible would smash a boulder on it head to show off, and Ash!Gible would just stare blankly at it. Just staring... always staring.

Also, wanted to comment on those kids that came in at the beginning.

Is it just me, or do they not look 10? xD
