To start off HGSS weekend, we have a Kinoshita episode followed by a movie-concluded marathon! The former is the focus.

Sorry for the early post.

-So once again we start off with dub music this week

-Some background silence for about 15-20 seconds, and again for another 15-20 seconds

-First Japanese piece is the TR Sneaking Theme

-Second one is a short 3 second trumpet theme

-Third one is the variation of the Kanto TR Motto from Gotta Dance

-Fourth one is another piece from Gotta Dance

-Meowth broke the fourth wall

-Brock gets hugged by Rianna, when was the last time a girl hug him?

-Fifth one is the Sinnoh TR Motto

-Jessie is still complaining about her looks

-Sixth one is Deai To Wakareto

-This episode was meh to me, musically it was better than last week, but it just felt like a boring filler to me.

Didn't care for this episode in Japanese and still didn't care for it in English. Boring filler.

At the very least, Team Rocket's mecha was entertaining.

What were the names for the boy and the girl?

Boy was Mitchell
Girl was Rianna (or Rhianna don't know which spelling TPCI used)

I'm glad it wasn't just me that thought it felt like a boring Johto filler. I should know as I've watched every Johto episode within the last month or so.

Gira mech? Oh, an illusion. Pidgey mech, that's even better. I really don't have much to say since this filler is so bland.

This filler is more boring than I thought it would be...

Anyway, am I the only one who noticed that this is the second DP episode with a boy named Mitchell? If you watched Ghoul Daze!, Brock's partner's name was Mitchell.

What's with PUSA's fondness of over-spelled names?
First Khoury, now "Rhyanna"?

Spelling everything like this is idiotic. Really.

Khoury is a REAL NAME. Just because it isn't a "western" name doesn't mean it's not real, used by real people.

Team Rocket uses a lot of variations of their motto in Sinnoh! I'm trying to add this episode's motto to the list of variations, but I just am not sure what Meowth's first line is. It sounds sort of like "Meaner! Meaner!" Is that it?

Yes I believe that is what he said.

Khoury is overspelled version of Cory.
Rhyanna is overspelled version of Ryana.

See what I mean? It's simply annoying. Do they think that the names would be inferior if they spelled them conveniently?

To be fair, it's not like these names are even seen spelled out in the episode.

Ha, Cartoon Network messed up.

They chose episodes that are part of the same season as Johto Journeys, only those episodes are also all Orange Island ones.

At least Pokemon 2000 features one of the main Pokemon, Lugia.

Well damn, count our release in with those who missed the references.:embarass:
