You know the idea, the same old boring Pika-Pip episodes. Hopefully this one reverses that trend.

I'm willing to bet 5.3 donuts that this episode will be shown in widescreen on the SD feed (The HD feed is always in HD widescreen as far as new episodes are concerned). All throughout the week, Cartoon Network has been showing their shows in widescreen (Chowder, Flapjack, SHS, Garfield, Pokemon, Ben 10, etc) on the SD feed, like they were doing before they starting cropping again.... So yeah.

This was another episode that had potential to be funny but was rather boring in Japanese. I wonder if the dub will make it more entertaining.

We've had another title error. I don't know about you, but this ep drags a lot. "Did you get a load of the action there?" Too...much...innuendo. The way the dub puts it, this thing IS the Instant Slash Fanfic Machine. Other than the amusement of the aforementioned machine, this ep was meh.

I hope they don't go back to cropping the show again later on.

Loved the widescreen, and really enjoyed the episode as well. I'm surprised how many people didn't like it. I've seen the Japanese version many times, but no matter how many times I see it, I always laugh at those opening scenes of Pikachu and Piplup. I'm so glad the dub kept that new romantic music that plays when they get stuck together. It really made the scene.

That was a bizarre episode. I thought it was pretty funny.

Why didn't they just use Croagunk? He's pretty good at stopping this kind of thing.

I thought it was much better than last weeks episode. Pikachu & Piplup were adorable this week, but anyway on the music side of things we got 8 pieces of Japanese music this week and they were:

-The very first piece of music in the episode which I think is from Gotta Dance
-The piece where Croagunk drags Brock away from Nurse Joy
-All 4 times that the Piano music when Pikachu & Piplup came together played (Is that from one of the later movies?)
-A variation of the TR Sneaking Theme
-Sinnoh TR Motto

This episode was really weird. Don't get me wrong, I thought it was funny, just weird.

I also like the music that played in the background whenever Piplup and Pikachu were together. It made me laugh.

I agree; having an episode in the format it was intended for (in this case widescreen) is always a plus. I also enjoyed this episode and watched it several times in the Japanese version. I'm glad that the dub kept the "romantic" music here, because it's almost certain that they'll keep it 15 episodes later.
I'll rate the dubbed episode as a 8.75/10.

Meh, I guess this episode was okay. Certainly better than last week's. It got the occasional chuckle out of me, especially when the romantic piano music played. Strange episode, so I'll expect Queen Cynthia's scathing review sometime soon.

In the whole scheme of things, I guess an average episode like this one is okay once in a while considering how awesomely awesome the last 7-8 episodes (depending on where it ends) of this season are.

I think this episode only used dub music, hopefully they don't do this to the next episode.
