Yay, it's finally time for the GF!!!... and no, it's not the Grand Festival. It's the Galactic Finale, part 1. I am also interested in what Asatsuki Town will be called.

Wow, we're here already? This came fast.

This is going to be fun.

Also, all of the Japanese ver. music is kept, except the title screen.

Jupiter stop sounding like you're 14. You've gotta be at least twice that.

Some sort of forced chosen one situation, huh? So that would have left Charon out in the cold. Again. No wonder he hates you guys and your zombie boss.

...ok no seriously. How could you guys make the Red Chain without the fairies?

Good lord Meowth did you just say "peeps"? Also, "take a powder" doesn't mean what you think it does.

"Or else"? Looker, if you guys didn't make backups, that's your own problem.

So tell me--why did it take over a year for J to get on capturing the lake trio? She was hired at the end of the major Galactic introduction episode which was September 08 and it took her until November 09 to hie her ship to where they actually were. See, maybe if she'd taken them on one by one...oh, but that's for next week.

It's very fun seeing the cavalcade of characters that this episode brings. A shame that the next few episodes will be the last hurrah for some of them.

If you think about it, all this build up is finally getting addressed. Something rare in Pokemon -- an actual storyline! I'm feeling giddy for the rest.

I liked the entire episode, although the animation really upset me. It looked like a blend of Takeda and Kinoshita.

I'll admit it is a shame we didn't get a Team Galactic episode focusing on Jupiter till the final confrontation, but still Jupiter and her Skuntank were awesome in this episode.

I thought it was cool how Meowth thought he needed to save Jessie and James on his own.

I thought Forsythia's cameo was a nice touch too.

I never noticed before, but what's with Meowth saying "Dig it" all the time? Is that some weird attempt at translating "Nya"? And Jessie and James are his "peeps"? Glad to see the dub is still keeping the 90s alive.

Charon is such a creepy old man. :) I also loved that virus he made. His face popping up on screen like that always make me laugh.

This was a really great setup episode. All the little moments throughout the series that have been leading up to this are mentioned, and you really get a nice sense of continuity and how much this was all planned since the very first episode. It's only a shame we can't get both parts of the finale aired together.

I love the Team Galactic events, and this one was just as good as I expected. I've been looking forward to this little story arc for a long time. Its also great seeing so many important characters in one episode. Can't wait for next week as well, than things will really start to get good.

Charon adds a bring dynamic to the show being a character that seems to be completely disliked by his fellow commanders. And yeah, it's a shame we can't get the two finale eps together, but that would require compassion and understanding from the Cartoon Network executives.....two things they are clrealy completely incapable of based solely on the times the show airs.

Now my question remains: were Looker and Jupiter flirting or something in the beginning?

Well there was a lot to like about this week's episode, and I really did like it. It was a great setup for the next two weeks - as well as a great episode in its own right.

I like how - after a lot of questionable geography between Snowpoint and Twinleaf Town, the group seems to be following some kind of recognisable path through Sinnoh again. The music was also great.

One thing I couldn't stand, and it's already been mentioned, was Meowth. I mean, the dub dialogue that's been written for him is always crappy. I don't know why they decided to make him Jewish - but it seemed particularly bad today. Why did they have to make every second word out his mouth "dig"?

Other than that, though - a very good episode.

Jewish? You smokin' something you shouldn't be?

After 2 weeks of boring fillers we get the Galactic Finale and this episode was great. Having almost all of the original music left alone was great as well as the episode being in Widescreen. My main concern is that the title screen music in the JP version was the AG title screen music, so I thought it was stupid for it to be replaced as TPCI left it in back in Battle Frontier.

Ahh, that part. Well, I usually grumble that to myself, and I'm not Jewish, but I get how one could interpret that as... a Jewism.

One small touch that I've always liked is how our good friend the Narrator gets more dramatic when the plot revolves around Team Galactic. Hey, finally there's more to do than just report 'Ash and friends are on their way to Blankville for the Gym/Contest'. Glad they keep that type of stuff in.

Jupiter: Your code name "Looker" suits you well. You're just my type.
Looker: Well that's too bad, because you're not my type.

Looker, you LIE. You secretly think she's hot, and you know it!! *sniffs* Is that a JupiterXLooker ship that I'm smelling?

ANYHOO... weird-ass stuff aside... this episode was awesome, and I can hardly wait for the next two episodes. And now I know why I think Charon is awesome in a funny way... I lol'd when his face popped up on that screen. We should have that expression of his as a smiley on here... don't know how that'll be accomplished though... My favorite funny part of the episode when Looker did his own facepalm as Jessie and James shocked themselves... even after Jessie had shocked herself before. That's the TRio for ya... 'tis why I love them to death.:awww:

I thought it was interesting how Charon had told Jupiter that "jealousy is a human emotion". The reason why I found it interesting is because it seemed like he was acting like the "shun all emotions" that Cyrus goes by was some kind of "policy" of theirs. From what I remember so far in the TG episodes and in the games, Cyrus was pretty much the only one who shunned emotions, while the others didn't really show any sign of supporting that train of thought.

Even though, sadly, Jupiter got only one episode centered around her, I thought it was at least a good enough episode to make up for that. Seeing as how they didn't do very much characterization on most villains in the past, I was impressed with what they've done with TG so far in the amount of episodes that they have appeared in... from my standpoint anyways.

IT'S TIME TO PLAY "LET'S REVIEW WITH RYUU!"

Okay, let's watch...

YAY LOOKER! Okay, the intro was really cool.

Wow, Jupiter actually managed to get tickets to get on the show!

um... weird mask bit was random...

Don't diss the awesome coat, lady. He's gotten more screentime then you.

And Looker delivers my words.

Are they... flirting...?

Team Galactic must not have read the do's and dont's of villainy. She's interrogating him in open air, while he is unrestrained, and expecting to get answers... No, I don't care if your Skunktank can scratch.

Um... wow, that explosion was weird...

Okay so far this episode is shaping up to look nice.

Not as a good a punny title.

Okay, the watering garden scene is an awwwwww moment.

Daybreak City... Oh wow these names don't get better do they?

Pika and Pip, stop being cute.

And wow... Meowth apparently got mugged... wasn't expecting that...

Oh, I'm so glad you don't have to use wrappings with super potions in game.

"Doing that thing that we do so well." You mean failing?

Oh my Arceus Brock is doing something useful... Joey Wheeler would be amazed.

Is that how you pronounce the ironworks' name?

Wow, TR really is appreciative for those lunches. See twerps, feed these guys and they'll stop robbing you.

Meowth has a brain? *BOOOOO BOOOOO BOOOOO*

I will never understand Meowth's mental track.

Oh come on Looker, these guys are saving your ass

"Stay out of my business." Anyone else kinda laugh at that line?

Oh sure, the one time TR is incapable of blasting off...

TR is a confused group of people with no life who seriously need to consider their career options. Meowth, these guys are helping you. You've never rejected that before. Usually it's so you can steal Pikachu but still...

Meowth is crying... Whenever Meowth cries, a bidoof dies.

I agree. Skuntanks really are ugly.

Electrified cell doors... there aint no kill like overkill.

Um, why can't electronics work?

Oh god, Jessie you know what a secret factory is.

Oh god its Charon... antilife justifies my hate

I hate that laugh too...

Wow... Saturn that was a really weird look. Like something from Avatar...

That's Commander Jupiter to you Grunt!

Wait, if TR had the balloon why were they twerp tailing on foot?

Ah, Gliscor. To bad you will not be with us much longer.

This maneuver looks familiar. I seem to recall it being used with the legendary Thunder Armor bit...

Okay, I SO expected flamethrower to come out the other end...

Random request to join is ran- did you say join Team Galactic? Why would Ash do that?

And Dawn comes back with most amazing comeback yet. "Ugh, that would be so... ew!" Yeah... wow.

Wow... that is a good question. How does TG know all of that?

OMA, throw that creepy old guy out of the helicopter now.

Did Meowth just say peeps? Meowth, you are not Bender. Stop trying to sound like him.

Aaaaaaand no love for Brock... again.

TWERPS! COLLECT ON THAT IOU ASAP!

Coolest blast off ever

Okay, I have to say it... I have to say it. The glasses bit just makes it to unbearable. "YEEEEEAAAAAAAH!"

That is the coolest analysis machine ever

OH MY GOD! IT'S CHARONROLL! ABORT ABORT ABORT!

Why is my alarm clock in this episode? Seriously that alarm is exactly the sound mine makes.

Well police guys. If you didn't use macs you might still have a database. *BOOOOOO BOOOOOO BOOOOOO*

Wow... that was surprisingly determined

EPIC MUSIC

YAY J!

Wait... how did they make the red chain without the lake trio?

All in all, not a bad episode. Suspenseful, intriguing, different, focusing on Galactic. A good combination.

Random request to join is ran- did you say join Team Galactic? Why would Ash do that?

That WAS random... didn't a female Grunt in the games say "you're too young to join Team Galactic. Come back when you're older" when Ash and co. pretty much fall under that same category. Now I'm getting a Robin/Slade, Omi/Chase, and Luke/Darth Vader vibe from them... which isn't necessarily a bad thing... right?:naughty:

When Jupiter.... or Charon, can't remember... said that Cyrus had something planned for Looker, I wonder what they meant? Firing squad anybody?
