(I am going to make it Anime and Mangas now since some mangas don't become animes....)
What was the saddest Anime(s)/Manga(s) You watched,or read???Does not have to be the whole Anime or Manga could be a part,page,episode,chapter.:(
For me it is:
Full Moon Wo Sagashite
The main character 'Mitsuki' sings because she wants to find her love "Eichi" but he turns up to be dead...Then her 2 Shinigami friends (Takuto and Meroko) sacrifice themselves so Mitsuki could live...

Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Mami dies a horrible death...Then Sayaka goes crazy and ends up dying...Kyoko tries to bring her back but she couldn't so she decides to die with her...Then Homura keeps going back in time to save her friend Madoka but keeps failing...In the End Madoka sacrifices herself so the whole world could live without Witches so she erased her own existence...T___T

Chrono Crusade
In the ending episodes Satella dies with her Sister (Fiore)...Then the Main Characters Rosette and Chrono die together a sad death...

Ano Hana
Made me feel sad in the middle of the series but i cried in the end a lot.When everybody couldn't see Menma anymore and she said hide and seek then they went out to find her and with her little strength she wrote them all notes of what she liked about them...;____; and then they all saw her for the final time and said they're goodbyes...Then she Dissapeard... The friends reunite again and spend more time together like in their childhood

Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Everyone dies in it while unfitting music is played, and the ending is, in the words of one of the characters, "So fucked up".

It's worth watching, trust me. The movies (Rebuild) are much different, though.

The ends of Azumanga Daioh and K-On!!. For some reason, high school graduations and parting ways always get me.

Clannad: After Story. [/THREAD]

Seriously, this is pretty much the entire relevant story. DON'T READ THIS if you ever intend on watching the series (which you should).
Main character takes the entire first season and a half building up his relationship with the woman. They finally get married, come to a stable point, and then the wife dies in childbirth. Man becomes estranged from his own daughter and goes into depression over eight years. Just as he pulls himself out of it and reconciles with both his daughter and his deadbeat dad, his daughter starts to develop to the same disease that took his wife. Main character collapses trying to fulfill his daughter's last wish, and both die.

Probably my favorite anime almost entirely by virtue of its emotional impact. If you haven't seen Clannad, I recommend it strongly.

Ohhhh I'm gonna watch Azumanga Diaoh seems like a very funny Anime!XD oh yeah K-ON I'm watching it i know Graduations are sad in Animes.:'(

Full Moon Wo Sagashite or Fushigi Yugi. Both made me cry like a bitch but the former edges in ahead because every friend I know who decided to watch it too has ended up sobbing. I have a feeling Grave of the Fireflies would do the same; still need to hunt it down on DVD.

I went into full-blown Heroic BSOD mode while watching Clannad.

I have to stop watching after
a certain somebody dies

and cried for a whole hour and a half before i could contain myself and continue watching and crying.
I think I spent the whole last half of the second season sobbing.

And yet it's one of the best anime ever, but you have to be a serious masochist to keep watching.

Oh my god, I cannot say it enough. That anime was by far, one of the saddest and most emotion-wrenching anime I've ever watched.
The way that it builds up Tomoya's and Nagisa's relationship and then... then... Nagisa DIES. I was depressed for like about 2 days after watching that. ;___; It killed me. And the fact that Ushio died later on did not help. ;-;

The ending of K-ON was also pretty sad, but the extra episodes that followed the finale eased the sadness. There was also Ginban Kaleidoscope. I felt pretty sad after that ending...

Definitely Clannad After Story, I have never cried so much at an anime.

The end of Angel Beats! made me cry and Bokurano.

In Bokurano all but one of the main characters end up dying during the course of the series.

Clannad made me cry tears of happiness :3 But also there were very sad parts that got me too!
