Rate and change my sandstorm team

Yep, this is my 3erd team, and i say this is my best one, i've tested it in shoddy battle and have been winning, rate it

449Hippopotas.png

Hippopotas (Nibble)
Nature: Impish
EVS:252 hp, 100 def, 158 sp.def
Abillity: Sand stream
Item: Focus Sash

Moveset
---------
Earthquake- Get's good stab, i can do a bit of damage after i've SRed

Stealth Rock- Self explanatory

Yawn- Forces switch ins

Toxic- Yep

Role: Lead
He sets up the sandstorm, Sets up SR, then becomes as annoying as possible with yawning and stockpiling untill it dies

Threats: Anti leads, but, then again, what lead isn't counters by an anti-lead?

Possible Changes: Thinking of many swapping out Yawn for Toxic or Roar, either one.

332Cacturne.png

Cactrune (Penguin)
Nature: Jolly
EVs: Hp 106, Attack 252, Speed 152
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil

Moveset
---------------
Focus punch- i have a sub, might as well use it

Sucker Punch- Stab priority

Substitute- Combined with Sand Veil, sub gives me a chance to set up 1-2 SDs without interuption, and it annoys the crap out of people with focus punch

Swords Dance- Setting up

Role: Sweeper and Coverage
If i see something i can set up on, i set up on, otherwise, he mainly exists to cover my massive water weakness.

Threats: Toxicroak, Resists both moves, and has 2 stab attacks to kill me.

Possible Changes: Sucker punch might go down for leech seed, but, thats about it. Entire pokemon may swap out for a magneton, but that makes my ground weakness all the worst, plus i'm not sure about how strong magneton is.

346Cradily.png

Cradidly (Rasta)
Nature: Careful
Evs: 252 HP, 4 Defense, 252 Sp.def
Item: Chesto Berry
Abillity:Suction Cups

Moveset
---------------
Curse- Set up

Rest-Recovery

Seed bomb- Attack

Rock Slide- Attack

Strait outa smogon

130px-306Aggron.png

Aggron (Kupo)
Nature: Adamant
EVs:158 Hp, 252 Attack, 100 Speed
Item: Life Orb
Abillity: Rock head

Moveset
----------------------
Earthquake- i think all my pokemon on this team have this exept for Cactrune and the wall, it's just a damn good move.

Head smash- A recoiless headsmash is brilliant, just utter brilliance, and i get stab for it.

Rock Polish- Setup, if i get one RP in, i can sweep an entire team.

Aqua Tail-Yup

Role: Sweeper
I tell you, this thing is utter brilliance, i have been 1-5 with only Aggron left, and turned it around with a single rock polish and a couple head smashes.

Threats: Blazekein, Choice Scarf Hitmonlee, and Dugtrio

Optional changes: If you have anything good to replace metal burst, tell me.

051Dugtrio.png

Dugtrio (Ackbar)
Nature: Jolly
Evs: 6 HP, 252 Attack, 252 Speed
Item: Leftovers
Abillity: Sand Veil (i'll explain in a minute)

Moveset
---------------
Earthquake- Honestly, do i need to explain it?

Stone Edge- Moltres is a real bitch

Sucker Punch- Mhmhm

Substitute- it substitutes me

Role: Revenge killer
come in on something that just killed me, or switch in to an electric type attack, kill that, toxic, then run or die,and like Hippopotas, he is designed to be as annoying as possible one his role is done

Threats: None realy, things that don't die in 1 hit to EQ

Other Options: I honestly have never used a dugtrio before, i didn't know what to put after earthquake, so i just decided to go with random stuff that made sense, go crazy

Other: I know your gonna say" What? Sand veil? Use arena trap!"
but thats the thing, every, EVERY dugtrio has arena trap, it's a bluff, no one tries to switch out when theres a dugtrio, because they think they can't

180px-110Weezing.png

Weezing (Scout)
Nature: Impish
EVs:158 HP: 100 Defense: 252 Sp.Defense
Item: Leftovers
Abillity: Levitate

Moveset
-----------------
Explosion- If i get to low health, or happen to run into a pokemon the rest can't handle well. BOOM

Fire Blast- Weezing has NO good physical moves, and that is honestly crazy, so i pulled it off of smogon, whatever.

Will-O-Wisp- Cripples physical sweepers and does some nice damage

Protect- Stalls for burn and sandstorm damage

Role: Wall
I needed something that could soak up hits, a wall, and something to help with my ground weakness. Weezing did both.

Optional changes: I searched through that list 10 times, and i did not find one physical move that was good, if you know of one, show me.

well, thats it

Just because there is Sandstorm in play, doesn't mean your entire team has to be immune to it (bar Weezing). How does this team handle Venusaur, LO Milotic, Choice Band Azumarill, non-utility Blastoise, Alakazam or Espeon once Cacturne goes down (since your Dugtrio isn't packing Sucker Punch). You need to think about getting better defensive coverage in there, especially something to take water attacks other than Cacturne.

sucker punch, how come i never thought of that.

what about a manetric or a raichu or electabuzz to replace the rampardos?
or hell, a nice Milotic or Venasaur of my own would be good. lemme do something here

Hippopotas will make better use of Toxic than Stockpile, since it's not gonna live anyway, the main objective is to set up Sandstorm and SR, and Toxic as a bonus.

Cactrune will make good use of Focus Punch, a long whit Sucker Punch you can play mind tricks whit your opponent.

Aggron has no use of Metal Burst, use Aqua Tail/Ice Punch or even Low Kick.

Dugtrio works very well with Sucker Punch against anything that is faster than it, Dugtrio should just try to kill things off, not Toxic them.

Hope I helped :)

Actually, have you tried out Cradily? It can attack from either end of the spectrum, isn't hurt by the sand and adds another grass to help take care of water types. You could run a Swords Dance set with Seed Bomb/Rock Slide and your choice of Recover or another attacking move. Cradily has a lot of options, I think you should take a look into that.

Cradily, thanks, that's great.

Cradily has a reliable recovery move (Recover), so you might want to replace Rest with that.

how do you counter rain teams? it seems you lose to them every time.

you beat them, by sending in your Sandstorm team and hoping that your poke's are faster xD

EDIT: My bad people. All I can say for him is maybe teach your Cactturne Needle Arm because of your Teams major water weakness. but as for what I would tell you to take out. I have no Idea....

Talking about this team specifically, not the general metagame. Pay attention next time, Zevenn.

From what I see Milotic can destroy this whole team, except Cradily.

Also I really think Substitute doesn't work on Dugtrio since it has such small HP and is very fragile.
