Ah, so Drew finally returns. It originally looked like the writers were avoiding him for some reason. Looks like this new coordinator may take down Drew so May could get the ribbon, similar to the Grace/Medicham contest.

Yeah, seeing as how there are two contests with only 1 episode apart, it's obvious that May's going to lose one of them.

"Who is the Victor? Pokemon Orienteering!"
Satoshi-tachi are on their way to the next Battle Frontier area, the Battle Palace located on Metarika Island. While travelling around on Popuri Island, the gang finds out about a Pokemon Orienteering competition and decide to participate in it.
"Gonbe's Debut Battle! An Earnest Fight with Harley!!"
Satoshi-tachi head toward Modama Town, where the next Pokemon Contest is. This time, Gonbe becomes Haruka's partner in battle in her attempt to get her next Contest Ribbon.
Juptoru vs. Tropius! The Duel in the Grassland!!"
While travelling, Juptoru unexpectantly gets caught up in a battle with the fruit pokemon Tropius and sustains an injury in the process.
"Pokemon Contest! The Yuzuriha Convention!!"
Haruka participates in the Yuzuriha Island Pokemon Contest in another attempt to win a Contest Ribbon. There, Haruka and Shuu meet a new Coordinator named Wakana.
"Jukain! The Comeback of the Dawn!!"
Satoshi is busy training Jukain to teach it some new techniques, but the training doesn't seem to have any effect.
These translations may not be perfect (espeically the last one), but they should be reasonably accurate.

Having heard of a Pokémon Contest being held, Satoshi-tachi wound up in Modama Town. This time, Haruka (May) aims to get a ribbon with Gonbe (Munchlax) as her partner for the first time.

[unsure of this one, though this seems to imply that Juptile evolves in AG161] Satoshi-tachi train [something about recovery] for the sake of Jukain (Sceptile), who has become unable to learn new moves.

He kinda deserves it. He's a little unethical, but he doesn't exactly go out of his way to 'cheat'. He only really tries to sabotage May to avoid going up against her and losing. Which he has done every time.
Actually winning for a change is the only way to keep any credibility for him as a danger to May. Otherwise, he'd just be like Team Rocket.

Quick question about the Drew ep, is "Wakana" a girl name or a boy name? Just wondering which "gender" is admiring Drew.

I'm inclined to think that it's a girl's name.
And I don't think it's 100% certain that Haruka will lose her Contest against Harley. It seems very likely, but I don't think we can positively say that that's the way it'll happen.
