I'm really surprised that a thread like this doesn't exist here, but, I'm glad too so I can start it! Like the title says, who do you think is/are the scariest Pokemon? Don't forget to tell why you think they are.

ALSO: No posting images of absurd things not related to thread, of any fanart depicting Pokemon, or any photoshop workings of official images. ONLY post official images of the Pokemon.

Personally, I think Giratina is frightening. Especially in it's Origin Forme. But it's also my favorite Legendary so I'm pretty conflicted right now. :sweatlol:

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

Giratina, Gliscor, Houndoom, Crobat/Golbat, and Salamence.

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

No pokemon as of yet, but the pokemon that creeped me out the most has to be the Likitung line. Its just disturbing.

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

None of them are scary really as Pokemon tries to be kid friendly.

Giratina is the closest thing to scary, hes supposed to be the Pokemon of Death.

Darkrai is the Pokemon of both the full moon and... nightmares, so he definitely qualifies. He looks ridiculous though.

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

Parasect. Just look at its eyes. That haunted me in my dreams for years. I had to cover the part of my GameBoy screen where the sprite appeared to make sure it wasn't Parasect. If it was, I'd run or kill it as soon as possible. If it wasn't, I'd uncover the screen and continue as normal. Even now, I shudder when I see it.

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

I must say, Rhyperior and Metagross would be pretty intimidating if you ran into them...

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

The overworld sprite of Darkrai is really sinister looking. It's that eye I think.

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

Origin Form of Giratina
Haunter
Arceus is pretty creepy looking

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

Missingno.

Dispite my massive Giralove, I have to admit that Giratina's kind of creepy. It's basically the Pokemon version of Lucifer, even though it's apparently fairly cool with humans as a whole.

I generally don't think about the creepy bits while playing, though, probably because it's a given that in the Pokemon world, anything and everything will kill you for no reason whatsoever without any sort of warning.

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

Darkrai isn't really as scary as it had potential to be. Like someone else said, it was the design.
Giratina creeps me out a little.

Ambipom...that thing scares the living crap out of me. I have no idea why, but everytime I see it, I get scared to death. It seems like a pokemon that would watch you when you're sleeping, and then kill you. To this day, I'm scared of it.

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

pichu Giratina. As much as I love him, he's probably the scariest.

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

Giratina's concept is creepy.

THOSE EYES! D:

Truley a pokemon of ultimate evil and nightmares! Don't Blink!

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

Anything humanoid. The fact that pokemon like Mr. Mime and Jynx exist creeps me out lol

Re: Scariest Pokemon?

Personally I think the battle music with Arceus is creepy and really stresses you out.
Unown can be scary if you read enough creepypasta, as a good percentage feature them.
