Hello Everyone.I have recently found a pokemon who's name seems to be unknown and he only appeared as a plush toy in one of the XY episodes. He seems to be somhow related to Whimiscott, because when you type "Elfuun no Migawari" google will find this pokemon as a plush toy.But "Elfuun" is a Japanese name for Whimiscott.
Question is: Does anybody know who is this pokemon and what's his name??
Here's a picture of him

That isn't a Pokemon... that's a Substitute Doll! No idea why it would appear in association to Whimsicott, but that little plushie is nothing new at all.

As others have said, it's the doll that appears when you use Substitute in the games.

Prankster Substitute.

Thank you for your answers.
Anyway,is it a playable character in the games? Like you said,it's a substitute doll, but does it have any moves or whatever? And what is this game on the picture? What console, etc? Sorry for so many questions, but I'm just curious

I use a 2ds and have faced a pokemon, Rotom to be exact, in pokemon x who used substitute, from what i could tell it had the same move set as the rotom but the rotom made the attacks, moving the substitute until the end of its turn but only when it attacks. Hope this helps.

Eh... you seem to not know what Substitute does in-game. I'll skip the hassle of trying to explain and just put an explanation here.

As others have said, it's a Substitute Doll. It's a doll that appears in battle when a Pokemon uses the move Substitute. This means they are replaced with the doll for taking attacks and avoiding non-damaging attacks such as Leech Seed and Thunder Wave. It has 25% of the Pokemon's total HP, and once it takes that much damage it disappears. So basically the doll itself doesn't do anything but take damage, and it's just a generic representation of the Pokemon when they use Substitute. Judging by what we've seen in the anime. The Substitute actually looks just like the Pokemon that used it, but in the games they gave it a visual representation in this form.

Yeah, those plushes were from some Pokemon Center promotion where they had moves and items attached to Pokemon who were known to be associated with them. Whimsicott had the Substitute items because of his Prankster ability, Snorlax had Leftovers, Vulpix had a Fire Stone... what a fun promo! Ironically, the subbie plushes were the most popular of the items. I don't think people even cared for the association with Whimsicott! Haha! I guess that is also why they added the plushes as an item you can use in your secret base in ORAS, due to their popularity.

By now you should get the gist that the "Subbiemon" is no secret Pokemon, but it would be cool if the Substitute form would be a Pokemon in its own right. It would probably be gimmicky as hell, but I'd still love to see it.
