Seeking a pikachu

Hello forum my name is maestro, I joined for the simple fact I could not for the life of me find anyone to trade with. I just bought a ds and heartgold was looking for a pikachu or a pichu. Also if you could walk me through the trade that would be great I haven't played a pokemon game since gold.

First I would like to apologize for posting in the wrong section. Now would you be able to walk me through this? I'm what you guys call a noob. I have wifi the walker and mystery gift. All I understood was if I get a certain amount of steps I go to mystery gift and get a pikachu?

The surfing one seems nice I'm just not sure how to get that as a gift when I go into mystery gift also I'm only at goldenrod now can I acsess this area or do I need to trade

If you have downloaded the event then you need to go to a PokeMart or the Dept.Store in Goldenrod and talk to a man in Green. Now you need to save and reset your DS and put a Pokemon in the Yellow Forest, if you already have a Pokemon in the walker you will need to retrieve it. You wont get a message about opening the Yellow Forrest, it will just show up.

To get a Surfing Pikachu you need to walk over 7125, if you have a Ground, Electric or Normal type in the walker, or 9500 otherwise.

To trade you must give other people your Friend Code or, since you are in Goldenrod, you can use the Global Trade Station, but to get a Pokemon of the GTS you need to have seen it already, there are a trainer whit Raichu in the National Park, after battling him you can search for a Raichu at the GTS and then use it to breed a Pichu at the Day Care

But I think your better off just using the PokeWalker since most trades on the GTS are insane, e.g; Pidgey for a Mew:/

Also posting in the Trade Section will possibly get you a good 'mon, I would helped you out myself, but I don't have Wi-Fi in my house :/
