Hey guys! I bet you get a lot of people signing up and asking for your help and then dissapearing- the good news is that I will never leave you. Ever. Well, maybe one day. But I will post in the introduction thread when I'm a little less braindead.
Anyway, I came seeking advice from you knowledgable people!
My problem is as thus: So I completed Pokemon pearl, and did a couple of things after the elite four, but then I got bored and wandered off for a while, completely intending to come back and complete it later. However, then the Rotom Key event happened here (Australia), and I rushed out and bought platinum. Now, I know myself well. I don't want to play two pokemons at once. I know that eventually I will never play Pearl again. I know that I will transfer all of my good pokemon to Platinum, and never play Pearl again.
However! Before I do that, I want to complete everything in pearl, and get everything special that I need to get.
Sorry for that tl;dr - basically, is there a comprehensive checklist of every thing there is to get in pearl/diamond/platinum?
Basically I'm thinking of stuff like Rotom, getting Heatran after filling your pokedex, getting all the unown (whatever that does), secret entrances (like the one on the victory road) that only open up after you completed your pokedex, places to go and surf once you've gotten surf, stuff like that. Basically, a list or walkthrough that will help me squeeze everything there is from Pearl, and the same for Platinum.
If not, you could just throw suggestions at me as to what I have to do in pearl/platinum etc.
Problem 2! In Pearl, I have the mespirits. Actually, I lended the game to a friend who caught them for me, becuase I am really bad at that. The problem is that on the marking map there is still a roaming pokemon. I'm currently in the same area as where the pokemon is supped to be, and I have used 15 repels riding around and getting nothing. So is this just a 'ghost' with no actual pokemon? Does anyone else get this?
