I think this isn't worth a Bulbanews article until an actual website launches, but it's still worth noting.

I've been (and I'm sure many others have been too) checking Pokemon-Games.com and PokemonPlatinum.com the last weeks almost every day and last night I noticed that both are suddenly redirecting to Pokemon.com. Before that, Pokemon-Games.com was the regular site about the games as we know it and PokemonPlatinum.com lead basically nowhere despite of course being registered by NOA for quite a while now.

So I guess we can expect two new websites about Platinum soon, which is about time imo. o.o

Also, Nando has been telling on the chat that he saw an advertisement for a Platinum pre-order gift (a Giratina Origin Forme figure) at GameStop.
I assume we will know about this soon through the official websites, but could someone take a photo of it anyway?

About the time.

They must confirm the freakin' Charon (freakin' Looker already confirmed by TCG) and give us some more info.

I hope that the Platinum page will be closely based on Japanese one (which was a really useful page) and that it will be updated consistently, like the Japanese one.

And I hope that the page will have high quality artworks.

Anyway, Japan also had two websites on Platinum (that Yahoo Kids one and Pokemon.co.jp one). So, the new sites will probably be based on them (I just hope they have better artworks).

I hope we get some wallpaper that works on my wonky desktop dimensions (has a widescreen laptop).

I want to know the info on the English Battle Frontier already. That's what I'm really looking forward to.

Me too.

Especially the Frontier Brain names.

Not only because I want to see how close/far from truth my predictions are, I also want to check how NoA's naming qualities changed. Ranger SoA names were really poor, but I hope they give more care to main game character names.

And it would be also interesting to know if any of Battle Frontier facilities have been renamed. If yes, then I must cast new predictions.

But I'm sure that Merrick already knows all those details. Watch out for him in this thread!

There is a news about Platinum (more specifically, Battle Frontier) on Pokemon.com but STILL NO AMERICAN PLATINUM MINISITE.

Does anyone know what's going on?

Eh, they're probably just being slow...

Well, their last update was on Wednesday and so was the press release for the preorder figure. Both mentioned "PokemonPlatinum.com" the first time, saying it's coming soon.
So, maybe next week. :\

Yeah. I noticed that too.

They removed the mention of PokemonPlatinum.com

I just hope that doesn't mean that they scrapped the idea of a Platinum microsite. After all, they were setting such microsite for EVERY GAME so far. Why would they suddenly stop now?

*sighs*

When are the Frontier Brain names gonna be revealed... :(

I have no idea.

But I knew that first information about Battle Frontier will NOT reveal Frontier Brain names. This was the same case in Japanese. Their names were revealed way after the release.

I'd bet several smackers that Merrick already knows those names. Maybe he'll reveal them some time before the release of the game.

I'm also looking forward revealing of their names. I wonder if they'll use their Brain-named-after-the-symbol practice from Emerald. Since the symbols are named after facilities, the Brain names would be based on facility names.

But there would be a problem with Palmer. His name sounds nothing like "tower", so he would be the odd-one-out. So, there's a chance that new Brains will not be named after facilities.
