Self-Updating Sub-Forums/Searches?

Well, I have no idea how this would effect the server (not a computer guy) so sorry if this will potentially cause lag or if it's already been recommended.

Well, now we have threads that self-update (which I love so much), would it be possible for sub-forums (such as the RP) to update themselves. I ask this because I myself dislike having to refresh the page every 3 minutes to see if someone has responded to my post in a role-play. It would be much more convenient if you could make this wish a reality. My other question was if you could make the "New Posts" automatically update? It would have the same effect as the suggestion above but for users that like to browse multiple sub-forums.

As with any technical requests for the forums, you really need to identify an addon that we can use to achieve the effect. We don't have the skill ourselves to custom code addons for the forums, everything we use is off-the-shelf from vBulletin.org.

I'm sorry I didn't really know that...I'm sorry if it was in the rules or anything but I did not see it in my skimming of them.

But with that established, could you use The Spy to do any of the things in the OP?
