More proof that Republicans are hopelessly corrupt. My mom and dad really thought this was awesome, because they lived in Alaska for 15 years, and got to see how corrupt politics was there. VECO basically controls everything...or did, until now.

My Grandmother has known that Republicans were and still are hopelessly corrupt for years. They are too friendly with the Special Interests. Here in Maryland, It was former Republican Governor Bob Ehrlich who was exposed for playing golf with executives of BGE and its parent company Constellation Energy and he did favors for them as well. He did nothing to try to lessen the blow of the BGE electric rate hike. Democratic Governor Martin O'Malley has been fighting it big time, firing Ehrlich's old Public Service Commission that was full of energy company lobbyists and bringing in all new people. The new Public Service Commission has recently issued a subpoena for documents cocerning the business that BGE does with its parent company, Constellation Energy. We will probably have another US Attorney fired for investigating a Republican and that is not being a "loyal bushie".

Lame. Even I didn't go running around screaming "DEMS R CROOKS" when Dollar Bill Jefferson got in trouble for his cash in the freezer. For some reason I really doubt that the Republican manifesto tells politicians to lie, cheat, and steal.

It's not so much that Ted Stevens is a Republican, it's that he's a corrupt a-hole. And I never said the Democrats weren't hopelessly corrupt. *coughHillarycough*
