Series you miss

Honestly? I prefer it when series I love a lot have a definitive end. Less chance of them getting ruined by milking :sadsola:

100% agreed! honestly i'll get scared off from watching an anime if it has too many episodes, it just makes it feel like such a big commitment.

I used to be way more of a reader than watcher and the only long-running series I ever followed until the end was Naruto. And even then I only was really invested for a couple of years and afterwards only stayed with the fandom out of habit and nostalgia. Meanwhile most of my favorite series had pretty short runs and no sequels or follow-ups (at least at the time; I'm really out of the loop these days). All other long-running series I eventually dropped. I know it's partly cause my interests generally change a lot and I only have a few things I could consider myself a lifelong fan of.
 
I wish we had a proper ending to Eyeshield 21. It’s my favorite anime.
 
i really miss berserk! its one of my favorite manga of all time. i know its being continued by the former mangaka's studio, but even though its still quite good, its not quite the same.
i'd also love to see it animated properly someday.
 
i kind of fell off of gintama when they started adapting the anime out of manga order. kind of a odd thing to say because its a gag manga, but it sort of felt like they were cashing in on a really dramatic arc by moving it up.

that being said, sorachi is back writing a serialized manga... but its different then gintama since he seems to be going for a more serialized action/adventure deal this time (not a terrible thing!! i wanna see where he's going w/ it.) so i'll say i miss episodic and silly gintama lol.
