Server Behavior

Something has got to be up with the server setup. Today I've been getting errors typing in Bulbapedia's web address to try to load Bulbapedia (my usual method), but when coming into Bulbapedia through the Help link on the Bulbanews sidebar (Bulbanews is loading fine by typing in its web address), Bulbapedia's been loading fine. The issues have been going on ever since this morning, and are still going on as I type this. Is there any issues with the server that could be causing this?

I can only access the Bulbapedia by searching for a non-Main page on google, and going to that, then to the main page. If I try to access the main page directly or use the link from the board in the upper left, I get page load errors and it directs me to:

http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net:81/wiki/Main_Page

That :81 is probably incorrect somehow.

Bleh. I'm beginning to think that the reverse-proxy we're using doesn't work well...

I've experienced the same thing (page not loading...) I get a:
Network Error
A communication error occurred: ""
The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.

For assistance, contact your network support team

Getting in through say another link though is no problem.

I've experienced the same thing (page not loading...) I get a:
"oops this link appears to be broken"

Probably related, but I think the Cyndaquil art on Pedia's become unlinked from that on Archives. It shows it fine, but it's thinking it's an older file on Pedia, and giving it a weird resolution.

hi guys, im working on setting up the second server to make the site faster... ran into a few issues. Things should be working better now...

Regarding the http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net:81/wiki/Main_Page ... I didnt realise we had that redirect in place... it should be fixed now.

This web page has a redirect loop.

The web page at null has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.

Yeah, occasionally I get the words:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:
Diagnose Connection Problems
