Server too busy?

It's September 3 and 5:30 PDT.

I have gotten numerous "server too busy" messages.

Weren't these problems supposed to have been taken care of?

At certain times of the day, runs various maintenance tasks which cause server load to go up. 5PM PDT is one of those times.

Would it be too much trouble to publish when those times are GMT?

I believe it's 1 AM GMT.

No, 12AM. (Which makes sense, of course, for daily scheduled tasks.)

Also, it seems that traffic today is slightly higher than usual.

That would be because it's Labor Day in the U.S. and nearly everyone is celebrating the holiday.

So, is anyone going to publish the maintenance schedule?

12AM UTC is the major one. There's another one at 4AM.

Interestingly enough we're celebrating Labor Day by sitting on our asses doing nothing.

Now, now. We celebrate and recognize our labors by taking one day off to sit on our asses. What would you have us do? Work harder?
