Seven Mysteries

I am not sure if anyone has discovered this yet, as I see no response on YouTube or any other sites.
-note, I am not sure if this is the right steps-
As you beat the first island kahuna, go to the beach, there's this kid talking about the school being haunted.
Return to the school and talk to the little girl and finish her mission.
In the ending, someone explain it please.

The little girl is actually a ghost. It's also foreshadowed early when you do the mystery with Hypno, and you see a child version of Hala and another version of the little girl. She disappears because you solved the mysteries and made her happy.
