At this point, its fairly obvious that Game Freak doesn't care if HGSS is a million times greater than Platinum so...

...if they included the Sevii Islands, what would you like to see done in them? Personally, I want to see them expand on the island's legend, the fact that it got its name because it was made in seven days and not because of the number of islands.

I can see Groudon and Kyogre subplots being put in there because of the whole "made in seven days" legend. I mean what else can make islands rise, or create the strong currents on the island. It would be cool if the islands was where Groudon and Kyogre started fighting and wound up resting where Hoenn is now.

I also want the other islands included. Sure there's no reason to have Naval rock there, but its still cool, and as for Birth Island, that's where you could bring your Deoxys to transform.

Groudon and Kyogre would indeed most likely be in the Sevii Islands, because you'll probably get the National Dex before you go to Kanto. Methinks Groudon in Mt. Ember, Kyogre in some random water area, Rayquaza on the now-abandoned Trainer Tower.

Hoenn and Sinnoh Pokemon are also likely. And maybe seeing what happened to Lorelei and Agatha.

I was thinking of another Emerald scenerio for catching Groudon and Kyogre. Perhaps Rayquaza would appear at Naval Rock if its included if both Pokemon were brought there.

I'm not sure it makes sense to put Groudon in one location and Kyogre in another, since there's only one or the other in each game. Usually in cases like that, they'll live in the same spot.

See: Dialga/Palkia, Kyogre/Groudon in RS, Latias/Latios (sort of)

Well, they are said to be "roaming" so havign the terra and Marine caves reappear wouldn't be totally out of the question, though if I recall, the marine cave was underwater.

They're said to be available, not roaming specifically.

Anything could happen at this point, though I do like your Sevii concept a lot.

I can't see how random places that used to be homes of Legendary Pokemon can host Kyogre, Groudon or Rayquaza. I can definately imagine some places that would fit, but... Naval Rock? I don't think so...

Either way, if there is a third region in HGSS, which I don't believe, that would most likely be Sevii Islands. I'd really like to see what happens to them after three years. I also think that they could be a very good place to host a battle with Blue (the girl character of Kanto), similar to that with Red. One of things that could be said there is what Lorelei is doing after being degraded from the Elite Four. Agatha's and Bertha's relationship could also be cleared up there. Of course, I wouldn't mind if Sevii or any other region won't be on there remakes.

All I want is a more complete Kanto!

Hmm, lets see...

Maybe something happened to the Rocket warehouse on (was it 5 island meadow?) At the palce where the boy NPC wanted to play but because of the warehouse and this is shown.

Resort gorgeus needs updating or changed, it was not much of a resort IMO

Pattern Bush and Berry Bush (Or whatever they are called) need actual berries growing in them, if I assume right that berries are in game.

Islands legend around unown does need expanding. All that was really said in FR/LG was "Somewhere pecular pokemon are sleeping" I liked the Tanobay ruins but when you went in them, noting much in there, that should at least be a little better story. If it can be done for ruins of Alph, why not here?

Does anyone know if the actual GTS or whatever is being used has been shown yet in the games? It could replace Network Center on one island, that might be nice idea.

Definalty hold Gen III pokemon here, no sense having Gen II pokemon here when you have Johto, for obvious reasons.

Something more important needs to be done with these islands, maybe Mt Ember could hav groudon as somone mentioned? Kyogre in Naval Rock?

The Network centre was there to show trade between the regions of Pokemon, I doubt it would be replaced. Besides, that would be too long, its better for it to be in Goldenrod.

I could give or take seeing the Sevii Islands again (although Sevault Canyon was a great trading place!) but if they are included, I hope that they are included for plot-specific reasons. Like others, I'd love more information on where Lorelei and Agatha went, and why. As always though, I hope that the Kanto side of the game does not eclipse the Johto side.

Not really... the Network Center was basically there to give players something to do... collect plates so they could trade with RSE. It has no other significant purpose because after you collect the plates, you don't need to be at the Center to trade with Hoenn. It's a really pointless building and it makes no sense that you need to collect rocks so you can communicate with a region that isn't very far away.

It could easily be replaced with a GTS. There should be one in Johto (Goldenrod most likely) and then another in Kanto (the Sevii Islands are in Kanto.)

I concur, A second GTS would be a nice gesture.
Otherwise Outrage's idea sounds good to me.

Since FRLG established Sevii as a part of Kantou, it pretty much has to be in the game if Kantou's in the game. And seeing as Kantou is pretty much confirmed, that also imply's that Sevii is pretty much confirmed.

Well, we were all expecting the GTS to be in Goldenrod, but that's apparently not happening, so I guess the Sevii Islands are as good a place as any.

Also, I've been wondering if they'll have "Diamond" and "Pearl" key items, or at least something that parallels the "Ruby" and "Sapphire" of the last generation. Maybe something like a Platinum Nugget, too... The Sevii Islands could be used for that, but to avoid repetition, I figured GameFreak would use that in the Kanto quest.

If the Seviis are in, the GTS will not be in them - it's too far off the mainland, and you wouldn't be able to Fly to it easily (assuming they'll keep the Gen. II and III convention of not being able to Fly between regions).

Although really, I'd be very surprised if Sevii returned at all - there's no purpose for them. In FRLG, they were there to a) extend play time, b) provide Pokémon not yet found in that generation, and c) host the event to open trading to other games. The first reason is the entire purpose of Kanto, the second is kind of a moot point (except for the legendaries, which could be put in a multitude of places in either Johto or Kanto), and the third could be done in Kanto as well, if it's necessary at all - they could have it open to trading with DPPt from the start if they wanted.

The only reason they might include Sevii is if they decide to intensely examine the role of the Unown and involve the Tanoby Ruins as well as Alph. But that seems unlikely at this point.

If they do throw them in - which I wouldn't mind, as I quite enjoyed the Isles in FRLG - I'd be interested to see what they do in regards to Navel Rock's general lack of purpose. Actually, though, the whole lack of purpose thing does kinda strike me as being true for the entire archipelago, as others have said.

You mean like the lack of purpose for all the event legendary areasÉ

I think that the extensions we already know kill the need of Sevii Islands. Add Kanto to it and we have enough landmass...

The point of the Sevii Islands for Kanto in FireRed/LeafGreen was give the player a longer gaming experience than that was offered in the orginal Red/Blue.

With the inclusion of Neo-Kanto. HeartGold/SoulSilver would already be a long enough gaming experience.
