Why is Seviper still here?

I love Seviper! I love it with Jessie, I love how it has been used in a lot of contests recently, and is going to be used in a GF which back in Hoenn, I never saw coming.

You know, Seviper was the first ever Pokemon of the main cast to enter a contest, along with Jessie as a person.

With that said, why do you think Jessie still has Seviper.

I hope because the writers decided to let Jessie keep it forever.

I love that snake! Does anybody think it will leave, does anyone want it to?

What do you think of Seviper as a Pokemon, compared to Arbok, being used in many contests, and shinning/winning, compared to its Hoenn days, in the episode "All Things Bright and Beautifly"

I hope Dunsparce never sees a Pokeball belonging to Jessie.

That Pokemon is so lackluster.
 
I think one of the reasons Jessie still has Seviper is that there isnt any new poison snake pokemon for her to get.
 
I'm pretty sure Habunake will leave if there is a new snake for Musashi. They might get creative and give her a different poison type, even.

Habunake is a cool Pokémon, but the writers have handled it quite bad. The poor thing doesn't have any interesting traits.
 
I do remember when Habunake started to get more use (after Megayanma being piled on us most of the time), I thought that it was going to get released and they were just using it more as a sort of goodbye present xD

I think that Habunake's place on the show depends on what Pokémon that the 5th gen brings us.
 
Jessie worked harder to get Seviper than any other Pokemon, fighting it herself, lol.

Seviper should be here forever!!!

I love Habu, but I have to disagree with this. It doesn't so anything but battle, and win only rarely. At least Megayanma... uh, sits on people's heads? ^^;
 
I honestly don't know. But the most logical reason might be beacause there are no new snake Pokemon. Let's hope that there aren't any new snake Pokemon in BW. I loved Jessie's Seviper.

But they really should keep it. Jessie and it have history! Jessie mauled it to capture it!

This. Personally, I just think it takes up space but until a new poison snake comes along, it's not going anywhere.

If there are R/S remakes next gen, good luck getting rid of Seviper then!

If BW give us a new poison snake, it'll replace Seviper... if not, Seviper will stay... it's really that simple
 
Seviper's pretty awesome, and I wouldn't mind it sticking around simply because it looks so cool. I miss when it would make a little fanfare out of it's 'bu' rasberries every time it was let out of it's pokeball, however. A hex on whoever decided it'd be a good idea to drop that.

I'm rooting for a Quetzalcoatl Dunsparce evo to fill the ol' snake skin boots once Seviper's time comes. Oh yeah, that'd wrap up both the flying and snake roles quiiiiite nicely.
 
Seviper has been on the show for 400 episodes. Jessie's longest lasting Pokemon after Wobbufett.
 
Yeah, Seviper's been 'on the show" (as in with the immediate group) longer than like any other character at this point apart from Ash, Pikachu, Brock, Wobbuffet, and Meowth.

I think the only other Pokemon that probably comes close is...Brock's Pineco/Forretress...

Wait 'til the full list of Generation V Pokémon is finally unveiled. If there's a Poison type snake in there, then Habunake is going bye-bye. That's the way the Rocket-dan Pokémon teams work now - Kojirou always has one Grass type that attacks him affectionately and one tiny Psychic type that doesn't battle much, and Musashi always has one Poison type snake, one Poison type bug, and Sonansu.
 
If Seviper were to ever leave, I'd hope it go to Agatha.

Except Megayanma is Bug/Flying without any poison moves. It's more like the poison type snake, the bug and Sonansu.
 
Yeah, if we get a Poison snake, off it goes. It's funny, Seviper has been around for almost twice the time Arbok was with us. It will be remembered regardless of what it's fate is.
