I HAD TO MAKE IT!!! I was too excited even though I just posted it on my blog. I couldn't wait to post this here! XD

Warning: This contains violence and extreme blood gushing. Also I will be talking about the devil (which has not been known for pokemon so for now that's not related to pokemon what so ever). As well as God (known as Arceus in the story). There may also for those reasons be a bit of creepy-ness in this story (there for this is rated PG, parental guidance is suggested for younger viewers under the age of... 8, 9 or 10 XD)

Title: Shadow's Soul
Chapter One: The legend of "The Death of Lights Pyramid"

The group Ash, Dawn and Brock were making there way to a small vacation. In a small town near Mt. Coronet. They planned on taking a small break; little did they know they would have a scary time. They stopped at an old man's house, named Sasaki; he had a bit of a hotel like house. So he let people come in to sleep there. The town was peaceful at first, so they didn't mind a vacation there.

"I'm surprised there are actually visitors at this time. Out of all the years and months you choose now to come! The year 2010 and the month of May! I take it you haven't learned about the legend which keeps many tourists away now. Even towns people fled but it's my duty to stay and keep Guard" Sasaki spoke.

"What legend? What do you mean? What’s so scary?" Dawn hesitated to ask.

"The legend of The Death of Lights Pyramid, it normally scares the heck out of people. So bad they run home crying and screaming like little ants!" Sasaki laughed. The other three just gave strange faces not knowing a thing.

"Oh allow me to explain. You see there are these vampire looking like shadows. They supposedly roam free from the great Death of Lights Pyramid. So at this time it's said a legend comes true. You see there is someone those Shadows search for in order to kill. The person is normally female known as The Guardian of Light. In order to break free once and for all, they must kill her. Their goal is to find the hidden Shadow Soul king and destroy the world. They do so by biting those with sharp teeth then take over their body with darkness. In order to profill their dream they MUST first do that with the Guardian of Light. She has the power to see them first. Once seeing them a few times the Star Night can see them as well. Only the Star night can attack them with pokemon and swords. The Light Guardian can only use Light to scare them off for a certain amount of time. If the Star Night does not save her. It is said she will be devoured by the Shadows, and the world will die. He can only fight them off with her by his side." Sasaki explained. Everyone gasped at the legend.

"W-What do they look like EXACTLY, aside from vampire teeth?" Asked Dawn. She was curious but also did not want to know.

"That is unknown my dear. Now don't worry! You must go to sleep peacefully without nightmares. It may not even be true, so please don't be scared" Sasaki tried to comfort her, knowing what nightmares could come. "Only the light guardian first sees them" He added. Dawn gave a short nod, and then headed over to look out the tree-house window (think of the town from the pokemon movie 4ever.) She felt like she was being watched from somewhere. It was un-comforting, thinking she was paranoid. She looked around anyways. But she was not wrong?

After Note: SHORT!!! But I had to do this Chapter Two: The Figure and The Nightmare! Coming soon on hopefully: January 17th on Sunday in my time!

Chapter two: The Figure and Nightmare!

When Dawn looked around something caught her eye! It looked as if it was moving like 3-D shadow of some sort. Its mouth was glowing and looked watery like it was... hungry! It didn't seem to have any sort of eyes. But Dawn could tell it was staring right at her! She felt fear completely take over her body as she backed away from the window horrified.

"What's the matter, Dawn," Ash asked. Dawn quickly snapped out of her thoughts at what she had just seen. It looked like a dark ghost human figure of some sort.

"N-Nothing, no need to worry" She protested. Though her thoughts were screaming 'Don't you dare go back to that window!’ she went for one last look. Well making her way over she noticed darkness flickering through the window. Like someone were jumping back and forth just outside. She thought she was delirious so she went to bed. She snuggled up under the covers with piplup next to her. She yawned, but felt again like she was being watched! She looked around the room and saw another 3D shadow. This time sitting right above her head on the sealing. Then nails starting growing from its finger tips. It looked so real! 'Is this a nightmare? What is that thing?' Dawn was curious. This time her instinct yelling 'get out of there now!!!' But Dawn simply slipped the covers over her head.

Before she knew it she was in a dream. 'Wait that thing a few seconds ago wasn't a dream!' She gasped. Then she felt it, everything were she was, seemed so real.

She was in some sort of pyramid? It looked like it was light up through the hall ways with torches. She slowly walked down the hall way. She then on instinct turned around. She saw a huge shadow before her eyes, looking really mean. She felt like screaming for help but just ran. Through the hall ways she went but then found herself at a dead end! She turned around to see the shadow becoming 3D. Like some zombie coming out of the ground slowly rising. Nothing but herself was in this pyramid and the odd figure. She felt like she had seen it before but then felt paralyzed. 'So sudden' she thought.

Then she felt herself be pushed into the dead end's wall. The figure pushing her and slowly raising its head. With a glare off ghost eyes, correction NO EYES, NOSE, EARS, nothing but a blob and a mouth! With arms and legs! It began talking, "Hello there sweet heart! Hehe, more like sweet soul," it spoke with the creepiest voice. Then liked its lips and fangs grew, then so did its nails. The dug right into Dawn's skin that it was so painful! Blood began gushing down her back; you could already see a stain on the wall! "So we finally meet, I'm your worst nightmare, pleasure to meet you," It spoke. "Now stay still and you'll only live for a few more seconds so this shouldn't hurt for too long," It whispered in her ear.

She felt everything like it was real! She saw the figure lick its lips once more. Then its pushed her chin up revealing completely her neck... It slowly began to bit on her neck. It at first felt like nothing but then! She felt sudden major pain so sharp in her neck, like she had her head cut off hanging on her body by a simple thread! She felt rivers of cold blood rush down her neck. They got bigger, and bigger, she felt it roll down neck to her body and soaked up her skin. Then the figure disappeared it went into a dark gas, which quickly went inside of Dawn through the cut. She felt it sting even more and fell to her knees. She was screaming in agony, it hurt so bad for some nightmare!

But then she woke up! In her bed at exactly 12:00 am! However if felt horrible! She actually had a sharp pain in her neck as if that nightmare were real! She couldn’t help but cry to the reaction of the terrible pain, and rested her neck on the pillow. If felt like something just bursted open when she lay back down. Like she could feel the very bloody nightmare she had, as if it just happened. Like she was just bitten!

Chapter three: A River of Shadow's

Slowly Dawn gathered enough energy to get up out of bed! She slowly limped over towards the kitchen for breakfast. Hoping no one would ask her why, or what happened. 'What am I going to say I got hurt in my sleep!' She thought. Luckily no one noticed they were to busy with breakfast.

Later after they all ate, they decided to go swimming and have some fun! So Ash and Sasaki quickly jumped in as Brock did streches. Dawn on the other hand, was way to into thought, not to mention scared and tired. 'What happened? What was that creepy shadow? Will it come back when I fall asleep? Will I get hurt more!' All Dawn thought about was that dream, she laid back on the river bank and rested her eyes anyways.

"Hey Dawn, aren't you coming swimming?" Everyone else asked. Dawn just stared as she jumped out of thought. She looked at the rivers and just shook her head then laid back down. Everyone else just continued to have fun.

Ash went under the water to swim and slowly managed to open his eyes underwater. He looked at the sight, but something caught his eye. It looked odd? He was curious but didn't move, instead some black 3-D shadow turned to him. He stared at it slowly losing his breathe. It had no eyes what so ever or a nose or ears. It looked so... CREEPY! All of a sudden Ash let go of his air and began to choke, he came back up coughing the water out that he gasped in. Trying to get back air.

"Ash are you ok?" Brock asked, as everyone else looked at him this time.

"I'm fine, just saw something unusual" Ash anwsered. They all noded, then Sasaki got out.

"I'm going to make some tea for myself, I'll be back" With that Sasaki left to the house. Then Dawn saw the shadows again and stared around her 'I must be going crazy to see these thing, no one else seems to!' She thought. As the shadows were still 2-D dancing around her awaiting for her movement. She just sat there, little did anyone know she was no longer the only one who could see them!

"What's that? Does anyone else see-" Ash was interupted by Sasaki.

"I've got the tea!" He happily yelled, and no one payed attention to Ash. Dawn decided se couldn't see the shadow's in the water anymore so she would go swimming now.

"Ok... I think I'm gonna go swimming again!" Dawn cheered and with that she entered the pool. However the shadow's followed her, the went into the river again.

She jumped in and swam, then she went under. Brock was drinking some of the tea Sasaki made by the shore. Ash just stared carefully at the shadows and Dawn. He watched as they circled her only, and got scared.

When Dawn opened her eyes she saw them as well! She lost her breathe under the water beginning to drown! The shadow's formed room under the water that was a circle of darkness around Dawn. It slowly formed a face she could nearly see! Gasping for air trying to get back up it tugged her down by her legs. It seemed even when her hand reached the surface, it just stayed under, as if there were no surface!

Ash gasped scared when he saw what was going on! He quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her back up. By the time his hand hit water the shadows quickly dissappeared! He made it seem like nothing! When Dawn got back up she coughed a whole lot more. Gasping for air she felt like she wanted to faint! 'So I can't reach my hand out, when he can just so easily put his hand under the water! How can it be! Am I that weak? hm...' She thought.

"Hey Dawn, you okay? Did you see... anything under there?" Ash was refering to shadows. Dawn looked at him 'can he see it to?'. Brock and Sasaki didn't see any shadows so they honestly thought Ash and Dawn were going nuts! Or atleast that's how it appeared to be.

SORRY for being so late I was with... nevermind here's the story.

Chapter Four: A Few Things You Should Know...

...'Where am I? What happened?' Dawn was lost? She didn't know where she was! 'Your in your head thinking' said a strange voice.

'But where?...oh, why am I here?' Dawn asked.

'This is your concious, I want to warn you, and tell you somethings' her concious continued. 'You were just saved by someone, be thankful for it. As we all should be, you see ,Dawn, you are the new Gaurdian of Light. The shadows are after you, and only you. You must survive and defeat the king of shadows. If you fail you will be brought to the world of Shadows and this world will die. However you need the Star Night to survive. He is the only one who can ever save you. Good luck!' Concious finished.

'Huh? Wait!' Before Dawn knew she was awakened out of deep thought. "Dawn? Are you sure your okay?" Ash asked. Dawn jumped as a reaction and quickly looked over at him

"I'm fine, I think I should eat something" Dawn anwsered. With that she got out and walked over to make herself a sandwhich. She wrapped a towel around her swimsuit and began eating.

It eventually got late, so everyone was getting ready to headin and relax. The sat down and watched some TV, tired from their day. Dawn started seeing shadows again, she decided to look in her room. She walked over. opened the door...

"AHHH!" She screamed seeing a shadow jump at her quickly and feirce. She immediatly slamed the door shut. As everyone else jumped and stared at her.

"What happened Dawn?" asked Sasaki. Dawn looked at him with fear hinted in her eyes. "Dawn what is it?" He asked once more.

"I thought I saw something" she said. "Like one of those shadows from the legend".

"I see... How about tomorrow I show you the pyramid, a little trip we'll take?" Sasaki offered. Dawn just nodded wanting to know more, hoping this would not be a regret!

She went back and there was nothing in her room! She carefully scaned the room before going to sleep. She had another creepy dream.

"ROOOAAAARRR" screamed a shadow. She was being chased agian in the pyramid that looked the same as last time!

"Get away from me!" Dawn screamed. She then heard footsteps but, they weren't hers or any shadows. She felt her wrist being grabbed as she sprinted along with the figure bringing her along. She didn't do much, she just kept running away from the shadow. It was swinging it's nails at her, one nearly hit her. Another was just about to hit her... "BANG!" She covered her face trying to gaurd herself but wasn't hit? She looked up and saw the claws being stopped by the figures sword. She was saved!

"Run, go away from this place, your not save here! I'll hold them off but you run away!" The figure explained. But Dawn didn't want to leave him there, what if he died? "GO NOW, DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME!!!" It yelled. Dawn just nodded and ran away, then... She woke up in her room!

"Another strange dream? Who was that person saving me anyways?" Dawn wondered. She felt like she reconised the voice, however she couldn't make it out. She also began ti feel like she knew the shadow, it's roar sounded like it was made by human? Like she knew both of them, she just didn't know who?

"Dawn, breakfast is ready!" Sasaki called. Dawn jumped at a new thought of the voices. She finally reconised both of them! They were human made. They were people in the same house as her as we speak!

YES! Now we are getting to my 3rd favourite part in the story! (Well that's actually part two but yea...) Anyways sorry for being late! GAAAHHH I'M SOOO SORRRY FOR BEING THIS LATE! I HAVE NO EXCUSE! except I was sick for two days Here's the story! (you guys don't post much! Are your reading?)

Chapter five: A trip to the pyramid (part one)

As soon as Dawn realised who they were she was scared. She opened the door and went to go eat breakfast. She suddenly had a BAD feeling about going to the pyramid. However something told her to go just that gave her the willpower to go.

"I made some delicious egg salad," Announced Brock. As he placed the food on the table and Ash quickly dug into his breakfast. Sasaki dug into it normally, well Dawn was VERY slow.

'He could attack me any minute' she thought. 'But don't worry, he hears your thoughts so be careful' whispered Conscious. 'Right' Dawn thought trying to be less scared.

"Did you pack up for the pyramid," Sasaki checked. Dawn just nodded giving him a glare. "What is it," Sasaki innocently asked.

"Nothing" Dawn answered. With that she went back to her slow munching on her food.

*** At the Pyramid ***

"So this is the supposed legendary pyramid?" Asked Ash. Sasaki nodded and led them inside of the structure.

"Those who are apart of the legend, shall be brought upon destruction! Those who are not yet a shadow, will become one soon enough! Shadows will rule the world! Shadows will take over your soul!!! HA HA HA HA HA!" Whispered a very odd echoing voice. It sounded spooky and everyone heard it!

"W-What was that," Asked Brock nervously. "Please tell me which one of you is doing that!" he yelled.

"I-It's not us," Sasaki, Dawn and Ash said at the same time. Everyone was scared. Especially Dawn who was shaking and glaring around the hall.

"Well come on we should continue, no use going back now," Sasaki declared. They all nodded and continued walking. Then Ash, Dawn and someone else saw the shadows. They were swimming through the walls of the halls. a rhyme! Creeping Ash and Dawn out.

"Run! Run! Run away! You'll be dead another day!" Taunted the voice. "Dawn! Dawn! Run away! You'll Die Sometime!" It continued. As soon as Dawn heard her name she was officially creeped out. Those words started to scare her. She felt like wanting to run 'Is it another Dream' she asked herself. "Dawn! Dawn! Guardian of Light! Find your special Star Night! Dawn! Dawn! If you don't! You WON'T make it through your life!"

Dawn suddenly jumped upon hearing such words, she so badly wanted to run. Then they saw a shadow on the ground, slowly forming 3-D. Dawn pinched herself to make sure she wasn't dreaming. She was definitely awake so this WAS real!

"Dawn! Dawn! See this form now! I will kill you somehow!" Yelled the shadow. Everyone jumped as they quickly ran away from it, but it just chased them. Just like how Dawn dreamt. It had huge claws and teeth hanging, blood thirsty.

They ran but it was on their tail. Dawn tripped over a stick pointing out curved like a bridge. She began falling and screamed, she felt herself begin to collapse. As she fell to the ground she also fainted! This was the worst situation yet!

"DAWN!!!!" A voice screamed as the figure turned around jumping to head back. It wanted to go to her rescue before it turned to her last minute. All Dawn saw was a figure rush to her like in her dream... But was she saved?

Chapter Six: A Trip to the Pyramid (Part TWO! Finale part of A Trip to the Pyramid!)

‘Where am I? Why do I only see darkness? What happened? I can’t move! I-I can’t see? I can’t smell! I-I c-can’t feel anything!?’ Dawn thought to herself, at the moment she only saw darkness. Then she heard other voices from outside!

“Will she be alright? I-I hope s-she d-doesn’t… *sniffs* go…” said one very sad voice.

“What do we do? How do we get out safely now!” said an angry voice.

“Relax we’ll find some way!” said one that sounded kind.

“WE HAFT TO!!! We can’t just leave her behind!... *the voice starts to weaken like the persons also in pain* look at her, she’s covered in… blood…” said the sad voice.

“You’re also covered in blood, Ash, we’re not leaving you behind are we? NO! So she comes too!” said the calm voice. Dawn felt like she recognized their voices, and those names sounded familiar… But she has trouble figuring out what happened and what was going on. She couldn’t place her finger on it!

“I’m not covered in blood, just scratched on the back!” He reminded.

“Well you know what I meant! Now how do we get Dawn out of here without being caught and hurt more!” the calm voice questioned…. ‘So that’s it? Am I… Dawn?’ Dawn asked herself. It seemed she didn’t remember anything!!! Perhaps it was the attack that did so? Perhaps she did lose her memory, maybe she has amnesia!

Finally she gained the strength to open her eyes, she looked around glad to see light. Trying to force her hands up to rub her eyes, she didn’t. Instead she found them covered in red and black fluid, it oozed out of her palms. She looked with horror, she remembered real well what that was! BLOOD!!! She was so weak she wanted to scream, but found she couldn’t! Then they realised she was awake and saw the look of horror on her face.

“D-Dawn? Are you okay?” Asked the familiar in pain voice that was saddened even more. She looked up and saw the black haired trainer staring at her with concern. She felt paralyzed, like in her nightmare she remembered so well, and she felt the pain through her body for once. It was like her nightmare was real! Except somehow, she was currently seeing more blood on her than she ever thought she had in her body! Which made bleeding and pain seem worst, exactly how you’d expect to be feeling with such blood. It was a horrible sight to look at but everyone wanted to comfort her.

“W-What happened t-to me?!” She squeaked.

“Y-you were attacked by a shadow, you were very badly hurt when got to you, but I managed to get away a bit of your pain! By taking some hits…” Said Ash.

“Yea now we have two injured kids, a wise guy, an exploring guide and one idiot!” Sasaki said well finishing with “one idiot” part pointing at Ash. Dawn just shot an amused face towards Ash who just gave a hard glare.

“I’m not an idiot!” He argued.

“Well… Then explain to me WHY you jumped in an attack? And WHY you we’re officially stuck here?” Sasaki pointed out.

“W-W-Well… I wanted to save her okay! And we’re stuck here because I tried to save her…” Ash replied well frowning. Everyone else just laughed, well not Dawn, she just gave a laughing fit face…. Then they heard more mumblings!

“You can run, but you can’t hide! Now princess, prepare to die!!!” said the spooky voice of the shadow. This time they were in for more trouble, Dawn was already near death. Now she could be ripped so easily. On instinct they all helped Dawn up and force her to join them in making a run for life! “Light! Light! Lights of Life! Come! Come! Come and die! Die! Die! Guardian and Knight! Die! Die! All shall DIE!!!!!!” It screamed again finding them and chasing them! Aiming its fierce nails at the blood covered Dawn. On poke and she was already screaming in pure pain and agony. She felt the urge to simply die, stay there, and stop living in blood.

“Hang in there!” Ash and Brock yelled to Dawn, she was screaming as if she was being tortured! Not that she wasn’t… They finally found the exit and found out it was NIGHT!!! Now they would continue being chased in a large forest they could easily get lost in!

Chapter Seven: The Chase and Getaway!

“Which way do we go now?!” Ash frustratingly asked. The shadow was still on their tail so they had to think fast. Sasaki ran ahead as if to say follow me, so Ash and Brock followed. Dawn was struggling to stay awake as pain stayed in her body, she wouldn’t mind fainting at the moment. The shadow was still trying to scratch her, it took one huge plunge aiming for Dawn. It tried to bite her with all it’s might!...

“AHHHHH!!!” there was sudden scream the boys turned around to face Dawn and see if it was alright. However she wasn’t, she was on the ground with blood still covering her body panting. Her side was practically flooding with blood and pain, you couldn’t see any skin, by the looks of it, and it was questionable if there was skin. The shadow was munching on her side, she couldn’t take any more.

“DAWN!!!” Quickly Ash, Brock and Sasaki rushed over to her. They shoed the shadow away, thanks to pikachu, it disappeared. Though it was unknown of how long before it comes back. Quickly Brock remembered about reading how to make bandages out of absorbing leaves. He looked for some, he also had some sewing needles so he could make a bandage! He finally found a tree with tones of them and quickly made a bandage. He put some water on her deep cut, it was so hard to not make it sting. It did anyways, but it hurt her so bad, it was hard for him to continue well watching her. He carefully wrapped the cut with the bandage, hoping not to let to much come out. Next he lifted her on his back, and they head off again!

Eventually it was pitch black, they were all tired and had to rest, but no one wanted to. Dawn sat up straight, not wanting to feel her body touch any thing else. She forced herself to stay awake, then heard a voice.

“Dawn! I know where you are! I see you, Dawn!” the old spooky voice returned. She felt horrified, with that she woke up the others. Then they heard it, the same words over and over again. Suddenly the fire went out, as a black gas hovered around them. Dawn knew what that was, just like the gas in her nightmare, the one that went into her. However it wasn’t going near her, instead it went to… SASAKI!!!

“Why hello Sir. Sasaking, how may I be of assistance?” The gas asked him. After moments of silence it rushed over to Ash. Then it formed back into a shadow right in front of him! Its teeth grew, so did its claws. Then it scratched him as hard as it could. There was a scream of pain, and a sound of blood dropping. Ash was cut, his arm was oozing blood around it, nearly as bad as Dawn earlier, when she was first hit. Except it wasn’t all over his body like hers.

Her eyes widened as she saw the shadow figure go back into gas! It drifted around Ash’s arm as it began to go into the opening! Then she saw him stop breathing, his breath was gone, he was paralyzed…

Suddenly there was a cough, then the black gas came screaming back out! ‘But, why?’ Dawn wondered. She looked at the gas as it got angry.

“STUPID Knight! How dare you disturb being hypnotised!” The gas yelled.

“I’m no Knight, but you aren’t going in anyone’s body, if that happened, that my enemy would be the day the world was filled with happiness only!” Ash yelled back. “There’s no peace in this world is there!!!”

“Fine! If I can’t have you then say hello to your new little friend!!!” It screamed angry. Then it danced around Dawn next. It started to go into her body through her cut. She felt this pain before, the one she had when she woke up from her nightmare, the one in her neck! She felt like screaming but lost that ability, as well as to move. Her eyes went into only stare and her breath was gone. “NOW WE SHALL RULE THE WORLD!!!” The gas/ Dawn happily declared, but it forgot it still had to kill “her” and “him” first!

“Huh, you idiot! You haft to KILL her! Not play the old I’m gonna take over ya buds body game!” Sasaki interrupted the gases/ Dawn’s happy moment.

“Oh! Right sorry I should get back to that…” It came back out of her body. She was panting ‘So again I have no control over these shadows, but Ash can easily force them out!’ Dawn wondered into the land of over thinking. The shadow was ready for a finale attack!

“You’re not getting her!!!” A voice interrupted….
