What were the worst shenanigans to ever happen to you in battle? Did you get swept because you didnt have a hazer or phazer? Did you get setup on by a tank as you had to watch your whole team fall to toxic?

I personally have gotten scizor swept a couple times not thinking about my chansey being setup bait. I have since rethought my chansey's set but still, it happened

I was out power leveling some mons into evolution, fighting level 50 usarings and what have you on rt 23. I was using my Linoone who at the time was a level 78 or 79. He could take down the Ursaring with 2 hits and usually the Ursaring would use scary face so getting hurt was not an issue. Well this one tough bear hurt me pretty good, so out of the grass I go... I get jumped on the last blade of grass my feet touch and it is another Ursaring. First hit he is red, he hits and KOs Linoone... All I have left in my party are like level 10 mons... Run... Can't escape, dead mon... Run... Can't escape... Rinse and repeat my entire party...

I have had that same thing happen while hatching eggs. I have a level 20 magmar so my eggs hatch faster and 5 eggs. Accidently hit grass and here comes a level 50 pokemon

In my second Yellow run I was swept by Lance because he was keep on critting my Pokemon

Before I got my defogger, I had to watch my team fall to Sticky Web setups several times. Even though I kill the Galvantula relatively early on, the speed decreasing hazard is so annoying. It didn't matter much with my Aggron since it's supposed to be slow anyways, but my Volcarona gets killed without having a chance to hit someone, and losing my ace pokemon seriously hurts.

yeah, entry hazards can definitely suck. I always seem to lose the speed battle by the other person having 1 more ev or scarfing. Thats why I run a slow team now. My fastest pokemon is chansey lol

My friend challenged me to a battle and I thought she was pretty casual, so I bring something like Flareon to the match. She uses OU Pokemon and wipes the floor with me.

I lost in the battle facility to a OHKO move from a Walrein. My last Pokemon was Blissey and I totally should have won.

Ouch. Yeah that sounds like a sure thing if you didnt get OHKO'd

The most humilliating one happened ingame. At Nimbasa Court in White 1, in a single battle with a tennis player. She setted Tailwind with her Whimsicott, I OHKO'd it, and then she sent out Lilligant. Two Quiver Dances, and then, the nightmare happened. With Petal Dance, she OHKO'd my Pokémon, one by one, even my Emboar. Only my Volcarona was 2HKO'd. Hoping for the best (and waiting for Petal dance confusion), I sent cannon fodder while reviving and healing my Volcarona. But I realized something was wrong when Lilligant connected the sixth consecutive hit. That was the day I discovered Own Tempo. Match point.

Oh god, her.

She was my moment too. She slag near demolished my team; I wasn't at all expecting that difficult a battle. I didn't dare throw my Golurk out in the middle of that mess; if Riser had fainted, I would have been down a DS fat.

Then there was Elesa in Black, taking out my Drilbur with Aerial Ace and Flame Charge, leaving me with absolutely no counter whatsoever. I had never struggled with a Gym leader before until that moment and holy man! It took me twenty five minutes and a lot of swearing to take her and those flying rats down. Ever since that day, I have hated Emolga with the burning intensity of ten billion noonday desert suns.

I still remember that day when I lost to N's Summer team.

Leading with Drought Nintales and every one of them having SolarBeam -.- He swept me with his team so easily. I usually stick to the "No Legendaries" rule, but I got so mad that I ended up bringing Zekrom to deal with him.

Sunny teams are pretty cool, but N's was a nightmare for me.

A few months ago, I decided to try a Nuzlocke challenge for the first time in Pokemon Leafgreen. It took me three tries to win the first rival battle because he kept getting critical hits on me. Once he even got two in a row! It was like the game knew I was trying to do a Nuzlocke. :uhoh:

Criticals are the bane of my existence!

In the Battle Mansion my last pokemon, Mega Mawile, was able to take out the first 2 pokemon that hard checked my other two. After beating them the 3rd pokemon to be sent out was a Dusknoir. I could have taken it out if it attacked, but this thing had no attack moves. It Will-O-Wisped me and when I went on a different offense it was too late. It literally waited for my pokemon to faint. :/

There is something that just happened recently and man did I shiver that I might be forced to do it all over again. In B2 I tackled the Elite 4 with an around 20+ levels average above any of the elite 4's and Champions Pokemon levels when I usually OHKO'd any of their Pokemon (except they had Sturdy) and went through them with relative ease but then came the Champ and nearly wiped my with Haxorus. It was like this Pokemon solely had an attack pool targeted at any weakness my Team had (I think they made Type advantage way too important lately, I mean if I'm like 20, 25 levels above my opponent I should be able to take more than 1 or 2 shots from a move I'm weak too). I kept on trying to revive my Pokes just for the sake of having all conscious on my victory and Haxorus kept on killing me. If after a while I hadn't decided to say "Fu... screw that I'm fed, let them be fainted and just beat it" I had ended up in a wipe.

Battle tower. Sapphire version from memory.

Almost every battle the game tried to pit a Pokemon good against my team. I kept destroying that same Pokemon multiple times because I had a move that was good against it despite the weakness.

The game must have got really upset because it did something I didn't expect.

It sent out the same Pokemon again at me in a battle. I felt "here we go again. Might aswell use that same attack again to 1 hit KO it. The Pokemon actually survives and takes me out.o_O
I had defeated like about 10 of it's kind prior so I have not one idea how it survived on 1 HP.

I can't remember the Pokemon now I used however. It was years ago but I still remember the annoyance.

Blaine critting me like 10 times in a row in the PWT. I JUST managed to win but I was still raging like mad.
