I actually do! I used to do it a lot, in fact! Not so much anymore after I realized how much I sucked at it, but I was on a drawing streak fairly recently due to fanfic-inspiration and I figured why not pimp that stuff here. What could possibly go wrong?
Haven't done a lot of Pokemon fanart yet, but I'm sure that'll change in the near future...
Yes, almost all of it right now is based on Travels of the Trifecta!. I'm very sorry for that in advance.
So let's begin...!
There'll be more to come, I imagine...!

So let's begin...!
Paul and Conway, Platinum edition!
Whenever I get to Chapter 10, they'll be decked out in these outfits as they are trekking up Route 216 - destination: Snowpoint City! Fun, long story about how it comes to be like this. Conway's goggles are of the prescription variety, meaning they function like his glasses would. He's rich enough to afford that kind of thing.
Non-mutual BFFs!
Paul will always hate all of you, though. That background, I believe, was from some wallpaper of Movie 8, actually. Yeah, that was not drawn. Everything else, yes!
Yeah, that's the Brave Symbol.
Coveted prize of the story. Not exciting, is it? I made that thing from scratch!! And it was a lot more annoying than it had any right to be! ... but yeah, I made it for my banner.
Brandon, Byron, and Palmer.
Later on in the story, expect some flashbacks. Many expositional flashbacks. That'll mainly be Brandon's role in the story after we get the Regigigas thing out of the way. So this includes stories of him as a kid, where I make him the leader of his own little mini-gang that includes the child versions of Palmer and Byron. They did a lot of adventuring in their youth! I still think Young Brandon has a very scary resemblance to Paul, moreso than he does as an adult.
Apple doesn't fall far from the tree...!
Case in point. I just crap-sketched this and freaked out when I seriously thought I was drawing Paul on accident. It's a rare instance of a crap-sketch I actually like. :')
Oh look, Conway has a family now.
Speaking of crap-sketches, here's one of Conway's family I did. With the notable exception of Sloan, who's our bright blue-haired fruit on the left who came straight from the 1970s, all of Conway's immediate family members will be introduced in Chapter 8. Sloan is actually Conway's older cousin, though. He's obviously a cousin on dad's side; dad's name is Harold and he's a lab assistant. Next to Conway is his older sister, Franny, who is somewhat a Reggie counterpart seeing as she's Reggie's age and all, but unlike him, Franny really detests Conway and treats him coldly with no respect. Next to her is the mom of the family, Irma, who is a pharmacist. Conway clearly took after mom in the looks department. The main thing with Conway's parents is that they're both hardworking and busy, but are actually crappy parents because they never pay attention to their kids. Also, Conway's family is stinking rich! And every. Single. Member. Wears. Glasses.
My plot device, Andrea.
She is the oh-so fortunate mother of Reggie and Paul and the wife of Brandon. Just one thing: she's presently dead! Hopefully the notes I scribbled on there should be explanatory enough for now. She'll only be active in flashbacks (and hallucinations in Reggie's mind~), which won't occur until later on in the story. Still, this covers genetics and she was a Breeder before she died, which sorta links her more strongly to Reggie than Paul. One notable thing is that Paul doesn't remember his mom at all since he was only about 5 years old when she died. To his knowledge, it doesn't mentally scar him or even bother him; he's really not that interested in learning about her at all. Probably doesn't want to waste his hate-o-rade on a dead person.
Alanis, a very minor OC for the story.
She won't appear for a long time, I imagine. She is the mother of Roark, and by extension the wife of Byron. She won't really be appearing in the present, so I've yet to decide on her status. She basically exists to represent how Byron developed while growing up during his time as a member of Brandon's posse. She is also very blatantly showing how much she looks just like Roark if Roark had a really weird sex change.
Have moar fake nostalgia!
I based this entirely off the Sailor Moon SuperS Movie opening, where all the main characters were shown as small children, doing typical kid-like activities before having their picture taken. I do plan on having Barry stay on as a main character once I manage to squeeze him into the story, by the way. Some details were lost in the shrinkage, so I'll post the individual pieces one-by-one to explain them better.
Reggie!
He's taking off Usagi/Sailor Moon's bit in the opening. Usagi was skipping to kindergarten until she happened upon a puppy, which promptly lick-attacked her. Usagi's picture was taken as she fell over. Reggie seems like he's just waiting for someone while sitting on the sidewalk and then a random stray Snubbull comes to love on him. ♥ I did not make the background (except the ground parts); that's from a Sailor Moon artbook. An official one, yes.
Little Conway!
He takes on Ami/Sailor Mercury's role in the opening. Ami basically makes cookies with her mom, then turns to the camera and smiles. Conway is making cookies, but not with his mom - more like with Franny, his sister, who is probably not enjoying it. It's also more likely that Sloan took this picture because Conway's parents are far too busy to think about taking pictures of their cute baby boy!
Teeny Tiny Paul!
He gets Rei/Sailor Mars' role in the opening. Rei is in a nice kimono/yukata and posing for her picture until a couple of nasty kids interrupt it and run off. Not about to take that sitting down, Rei chases after them and smashes them with a baseball bat. As they sob, a dirtied, frazzled Rei returns to her position at the camera and has her picture taken, even though she's all messed up as a result of the thrashing. I guess you'd have to be creative to imagine why Paul would ever need to pose for a picture in a suit, but since this is Trifectaverse, it's likely his family were popular with the higher-ups of Veilstone City and attended their events. What isn't hard to imagine is Paul doing what Rei did if anyone were to interrupt his business. And Paul would be proud to say he gave those boys massive concussions. I totally did not draw the background. That's a Sailor Moon screenshot from the anime.
Mini Maylene!
She gets Makoto/Sailor Jupiter's role in the opening! Makoto chases after a dragonfly with a bug catcher's net, leaps in for the win when the dragonfly stops moving around so much, but misses and finds that the dragonfly has perched itself on top of her head. Maylene's not really bug-catching; she's meditating with her Riolu (who'd become Lucario in the future) and a random Yanma just decided to swoop in and interrupt her. ♥ The sky background is from Kimi no Soba de ~ Hikari no Theme, Pokemon D/P's first ending.
Itty Bitty Barry!
He gets Minako/Sailor Venus' role in the opening! Fitting since Minako didn't appear in the anime until about 30something episodes into the first season, but stayed on as a main character for the rest of the 170 episodes. Barry will be a similar case for my fic. Appears relatively late, but sticks once he makes it there. Minako imitates what goes on in her TV for her bit; Barry is doing the same. Minako got singing idols, volleyball tourneys, and a Western movie. Barry gets... Ping-Pong. Oh yeah. I went there.
