Shin'ō dex order: revealed!

Oh awesome it looks like they are keeping my idea what I thought of in the other thread.

by having the Pokemon continue the line in the main dex ala ...

025 Pichu 026 Pikachu ect.

Some of the new evolutions and legendaries aren't even in the list.

Hmm...

Here are all the returning pokémon.

Seems like the gamefreak hard-on for water type and general hatred of fire-types rages unabated.

Also, their love of making people,s job impossible continues too. See at "F" and at "U" for which bad old friends are back.

(if you guessed "Feebas" and "Unown", you'd be right)

If you notice Zubats, Pikachus and Geodudes always get to share the new generations with the new Pokemon. Odd.

Not a bad list if I do say so myself. Although, only from my team it looks like Alakazam makes the cut.

Bet be made now that even with all the upcoming games they'll leave AT LEAST one or two gba specific making trainers "buy em all"...although it really shouldn't be that hard with the trading system.

The problem their though lies with giving up your Pokemon, and the honor system if someone were to just trade for dex.

...but then again there is always Emerald.

Odd, Magnemite and Porygon have new evos but they're not on the list.

And some type-based breakdown.

Bug : 14
Dark : 8
Dragon : 5
Electric : 7
Fighting : 12
Fire : 5
Ghost : 8
Grass : 12
Ground : 17
Ice : 4
Normal : 26
Poison : 18
Psychic : 16
Rock : 10
Steel : 8
Water : 34

Frankly, with the complete shafting my two favorite types are on the receiving end of (Ice, Fire), I might not bother with this game. All the interesting stuff seems to have been put at the end of the game, where its patentedly useless.

And in the meantime, we get still more of the tired cows that are Geodude, Zubat and Tentacool.

If things keep going at this rate the Fire-Type will become the smallest group of Pokémon. *Sob*

I am so not surprised to see the infamous trinity of annoyance (Tentacool, Zubat, Geodude) is alive and well in this game.

Wurmple, Feebas, Wingull, Meditite, Roselia, Chimecho, Azurril and Barboach. I salute you for being among the few survivors from Houen to make into the game.

I ALWAYS notice the more water pokemon as I sorted my box by type, and the water one were always over flowing with pokemon.

Yeah! My favourite pokemon EVER whiscash makes a return ^_^

No Ditto, eh? Let´s hope that you will be able to trade a ditto to the new games before completing the shinou-dex.

I don´t know how to recieve all the starters if there isn´t a Ditto...Even with WifI trading it is very hard. Gotta restart for females...-.-

I highly doubt that there are only 151 Pokemon in Shinou. Many Pokemon that get evos are not included in that list and neither are the legends. Based on the number of Pokemon in Hoenn, I'd suspect there are 100 to as many as 125 more Pokemon in Shinou than that current list shows.

That's all the data there is. Of course, after obtaining the National Dex, who knows what new areas open up. It's like FR/LG, I think - certain evolutionary/pre-evolutionary forms (the Manaphy one, for instance) are not available prior to obtaining the National Dex. As for the omitted old Pokémon... well, perhaps they can only be obtained from the GBA games. (Or, perhaps they can be obtained in a later DS game.)

From the game, of course. I assure you, there isn't anymore.

The game doesn't come out until tomorrow. How could have a complete data set today?

On second thought I'll take your word for it.

This set-up seems eerily familiar to generation III. Pokemon GoldenSun and Pokemon SilverMoon, anyone?

More than likely, they just want to encourage porting old Pokemon, though - which have the ability to evolve further in Shinou, but are not actually from there. Sucks that I'll have to port over Magneton and Togetic before getting Ufotron and HowthehelldidTogepigetsostrongandcool?

Did we forget that RS weren't backwards compatible with previous gens and DP are?

Also, someone encountered the Dragon/Ghost uber in-game - so it IS in there, it's just not in the dex. Strange.

Like I said. I find it strange that RS had about 53% of all Pokemon available but D/P will have only 30% and lack new Pokemon of these numbers.
