There are [bp=User:Zhen_Lin/Shin%27%C5%8D_folklore]some interesting stories[/bp] in the Mio City Library. I have translated some of the more interesting ones.

In particular... I wonder what the Pokémon referred to in 1.1 and 1.6 are. It's fairly obvious which Pokémon are being referred to in 1.5.

I think 1.6 is Guillotina, as it seems to be like the god of death.

1.1 seems to be Sheimi, the Gratitude pokemon. I am not sure on 1.6. It is a pokemon that has a lot of power, that's for sure. I may be willing to agree with Darkrai here.

Sheimi, the Legendary Pokemon that's special because its incredibly ordinary for a Legendary Pokemon. ^^

Thank you for listing the interesting legends out Zhenlin. I think 1.6 actually refers to three pokemon (the psychic trio) and not a single one.

First part, about the memory erase part, refers to Yuxie, since its Pokedex entry mentioned a similar thing. Second part refers to Emrit, the emotion pokemon who can make people 'lose their feelings'. And third part, Agnome, as 'unable to do anything' seems most closely associated with will power.

About the folklores, I wonder if story two is about Sheimi, since it deals with a forest pokemon.

Translated the folklore. It's not quite as interesting but the third one is quite amusing.

o.o

One wonders which exact pokemon is being referred to in that specific legend...

Gravy was right when he said PokeJesus would be in this gen!

I thought Ho-oh was pokeJesus.

However, is anyone else desturbed with this new legend? It's sans-mew! I know this isn't the chicken and the egg situation with aruseus and mew... so this means conflicting poke-religions!

I predict Gen5 will feature a holy war! Also, the third folklore one is about Rukaria... I didn't know she was that famous though! Congrats for the meantion! :p

Hah. Finally proof that people DO eat Pokemon.

IN SOVIET RUSSIA, POKEMON DO EAT PEOPLE
