hey guys! i've been thinking about it for a long time and i finally decided i'd make a banner and avatar shop!
i use gimp for everything, i don't use paint or photoshop (i have ubuntu for my os which can't support a lot of things except gimp).
here are some of my best examples:
banners:
note: just because they may be bigger than what bmgf allows for signature banners doesn't mean i can't resize them!
avatars (i'm not as good with these as i am with banners):
note: just because they may be bigger than 100 x 100 pixels doesn't mean i can't resize them!
resizing:
i can also resize stuff. if you can't resize something you want resized and you don't have a good program to do it with, i can help you out. give me your image or whatever and i'll resize it.
note: i can't resize gifs. i haven't yet figured out how to do that.
when requesting a banner or avatar:
please, please, please, give me the images you want for it. don't ask me to go hunt stuff down for you, i'm not the type of person that does that.
if you want the banner or avatar smaller then what bmgf allows, give me the dimensions you want and i will resize it for you.
ask what effects you want for your banner. this is optional, i can surprise you if you want. please note that gimp doesn't have a whole bunch of effects i can use (for example, a glow tool). so, if you request something that i can't do in gimp, i will tell you and you can either request something simpler for me to do, or go to another banner shop that may be able to get what you want.
i don't have a very large selection of fonts on gimp, and i don't feel safe downloading more fonts for it online (very paranoid of viruses even if i have ubuntu). your fonts may not be fantastic or anything, but i can use tools to make them look distorted or funky looking.
request slots:
because i have a lot of stuff to do in real life namely karate, piano, chores, illness, and vacations, i don't have a lot of time on my hand to do a bunch of avatars and banners at once. because of this, i am only allowing five slots per request. this means only five requests at a time. once all the slots are filled, i will ask everybody to hold off on their requests until i have the other requests finished.

usage of my banners on other sites besides bmgf is allowed. however, i would appreciate it if you gave proper credit to me.
DO NOT STEAL AND/OR CLAIM THESE BANNERS AS YOUR OWN. THIS IS CONSIDERED COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT AND IS ILLEGAL. IF I FIND THAT YOU HAVE REQUESTED A BANNER AND ARE CLAIMING IT AS YOUR OWN, I WILL REPORT YOU. THANK YOU.
one more thing: PLEASE DO NOT RUSH ME!!!! as explained above, i have a life. do not expect me to be on the computer all the time. if you rush me, your request may not have turned out as good as you would have planned because i was rushed. also! i'm very forgetful! if you have made a request and i skipped over it or didn't read it for whatever reason, vm/pm me and i will get back to you asap! thank you!
