Shiny Pokémon sprites that you think should have been the regular sprites

The entire Luxray line. Yeah, the yellow/black/orange motiff is a bit cliche for electric type pokemon, but it works so much better than the unappealing blue/black/yellow combo of the regular versions imo, especially since they come from a generation overloaded with dark hued pokemon. Apart from that, it just makes them feel a bit more lion-like, and I prefer how subtle the bands on their legs become. The reds of their eyes and nose also blend in a lot better against the yellow.

I got so used to seeing Dokurog appearing teal instead of blue in the anime, that I wish that it's shiny form was it's regular form. It looks so much better that way.

CYndaquil line. Red seems more regular to me than that dark greenish blue color.

I keep thinking Cobalion's normal sprite is its shiny sprite because that light shade of blue just looks less normal than the shiny's dark blue. Might be because the mini-icon's blue is closer to the shiny's. The shiny's green and the normal's yellow wouldn;t look right switched to me, though, so just swap the blues on those two.

Leafeon's D/P shiny coloration should've been it's normal form, heck, they should've kept it as the permanent shiny colors! The change they made in Pt and kept for every game afterwards is just too bland!
