Shiny starters? Possible?

Has anyone managed to recieve a shiny starter without hacking? I was just wondering as I restarted my LG game.

Si, soft reset. It's a pain, but it is possible.

I have never gotten a shiny pokemon from Pokemon Diamond before but in my Fire Red game I managed to get a shiny Charmander which evolved into a Black Charizard, you would not believe how happy I was. It took me AGGGGEEEEESSSS to do it though, you could do it but you would need to have a lot of patience. I now have it now on my Diamond Version.

Tried it once for a shiny Torchic. I was successful after 5 days of constant reseting.

It's now my best contest Pokémon.

It is possible, but there is the same chance of finding one as finding a shiny in the wild. Here is an example.

i have 2 shiny starters. charmander and treecko. the charmander was raised into a bellyzard and treecko hasnt been touched yet

Sheesh....hard work.....

But I am lucky having seen 3 shinies, 2 of them of which I own.

Seviper and umm.....I forgot it!

Sevipers shiny form is cool!

I found a shiny Machoke in the wild, it's green
It's now a shiny Machamp

But, uh, finding a shiny starter is probably just as hard as finding a shiny legendary
Takes days of restarting
