I am now in my natural habitat...

As for jumping into the conversation at hand, I kind of like Gardenia/Erika. I dunno. I just like two girls who are grass type gym leaders being together. Just feels natural!

I mostly see him being a close friend to Whitney, but I am open to it possibly being romantic. Honestly, Morty has a lot of great ships! I dig Honorshipping (Morty/Falkner) and Sacredshipping (Morty/Eusine). Oh and Soulshipping (Morty/Sabrina). I just think it would be cute.

You know... that reminds me... of Erika ships I wonder about Maylene/Erika. Since Maylene is in Celadon during the events of HGSS. I am surprised that never took off, considering that people shipped Jasmine with Volkner since she made a cameo in Sunyshore, lol.

Gardenia/Erika sounds hella cute tho.
 
love me some airplaneshipping. for erika ships, i'm newly committed to erika/jasmine/daisy and all sub-ships contained within it. sacredshipping is great; i debated about shipping honor, but i ultimately decided to go w/ shipping totem, as will seems like a person that would help falkner to lighten up and broaden his horizons (kinda in a similar fashion that i headcanon whitney doing for janine).

and for gardenia, i tend to ship her w/ cheryl and phoebe, tho i do always waffle on pomegranate....on the one hand, i like ships that seem like they'd promote character growth in each other (in this case, it'd be helping gardenia overcome her fear of ghosts). but on the other hand, i wouldn't like it if i had a girlfriend that, say, insisted on keeping spiders as pets; i wouldn't consider my arachnophobia as something that i need to overcome, and i'd hate it if anyone kept trying to push spiders onto me. so i can't decide if pomegranate would be a good idea as a ship or not. XD i probably come down more on the side of gaia tbh, especially as i'm far more invested in bondshipping & phoebe/anthea as ships for phoebe. basically, i have a headcanon that phoebe & anabel used to date before anabel fell through a wormhole (and thereafter, i ship her gen 7 incarnation w/ soliera), leaving phoebe to eventually find love again in anthea (i feel that phoebe's ability to commune w/ ghost pokemon gels well w/ anthea's similar abilities (and this is also part of why i ship bond as well), and that, given all the trauma that tends to follow ghost type pokemon around, phoebe would be unlikely to shy away from the dark and traumatizing aspects of anthea's life, while still being able to help guide anthea into learning how to be a healthy and well-adjusted person).

....i'm tempted to just list off all of my sapphic ships, but they probably make up the bulk of all my ships, so i'll refrain. XP i suppose i'll just say that some of my newest sapphic ships are shipping platinum caitlin w/ dawn and/or marley (and dawn/marley), lorelei/ariana, kris/lyra, olivia/diantha, & ryme/glacia (and shoutout once again to e/j/d & lisia/iono for being my very newest ships, as i literally got introduced to the latter ship only yesterday XP). i'm currently in the process of trying to figure out if i can find a ship for tyme that i'm satisfied w/. XD
 
Gaiashipping, that's one I forgot about, actually. I liked the idea in the past mainly due to Cheryl & Gardenia's hair color being perfect in my opinion !

I've been thinking about shipping Katy, the Bug-type Gym Leader of Paldea. But I don't know with who exactly.
 
I ship Gardenia with Noland, together with Bugsy, the three of them are found family. (Have this hc thanks to Masters EX, that's why it's so random : )

On that note, I ship Bugsy with Sophocles, also thanks to Masters.

For Katy, I'd ship her with Milo because bug type specialist baker x grass type specialist farmer is perfect in my eyes.
 
So like, I feel like Adaman&Meli would do well together somehow. Idk, might just be me. I'm new to this lol.
 
personally, i started adoring katy/guzma when it was talked about several pages back. my other ship for her is tulip/katy, inspired from a fanfic that i read. but also, i just adore tulip, and multi-ship her like no tomorrow---tulip/dendra/miriam (also tulip/dendra on its own, tho i'm still on the fence about tulip/miriam as a solo ship), tulip/katy, tulip/geeta....she gets around w/ me. XP you cannot describe a woman as having a "bewitching aura" and expect that to leave no impact on me!! i swear, she and penny are in competition to be the gayest pokemon characters yet. XD (in mochi mayhem, penny tells you that your mom is "so pretty, my brain literally glitched when i saw her", like.....i could not believe my eyes, freaking hELLO?! if i had been drinking something i would've legit done a spit take. XDD)

did you not play through dendra's friendship quests? that's where i fell in love w/ miriam/dendra as a ship (long before i got to tulip's gym, and found out that she and dendra are childhood friends and that dendra helps out w/ tulip's gym trial), as dendra being the most useless lesbian ever over miriam was just so cute. outside of uvashipping, this (and the whole tulip/dendra/miriam ot3) are my favorite ship(s) of gen 9, i love them so much. :love:

also, forgot to add onto my last post: i ship gaia in part bc cheryl's hanging out in eterna forest, where gardenia does as well iirc (you meet her outside of the old chateau, and that's when you find out she's afraid of ghosts, i think?).

and as is my wont, here's me tossing out my own ships for mentioned characters: brigette/noland, buck/bugsy, milo/gordie (and i've previously mentioned iono/sophocles). i would elaborate, but my cat is insisting that it's cuddle time, so i'll leave it there for now. XP

personally, i'd recommend doing all of them, and completing all of the lessons. i don't know how ppl live w/o being taken out by miriam/dendra or brassius/hassel. XP but then again, i'm the kind of player where i like to squeeze every last drop of story that i can out of games, which is why i'm currently grinding up the bp so that i can get all of the interactions that i can w/ the special coaches in the league club room (also, to get the teachers as special coaches, iirc it's mandatory to have completed their friendship quests, so if you want to be able to get the most out of the league club room, there you go XD).

no but time out, the paldea school things are the best... for those who aren't more intimately aware w stuff like STAB and other more "mathematical" aspects of the games, tyme's math class explains it in grand detail. they're super worth doing (all of them lol. not just the math classes. but also the math classes in particular absolutely) (and for indigo disk players, building a bond with them is also how you can invite them as special coaches in the postgame!!)

has anyone else considered raifort x briar? i could have sworn it was mentioned somewhere but i can't claim to fully remember when and who by (my apologies - heck, i'm not entirely sure if it DID even happen??).. but they've been rotating in my brain for the past couple of days

super agree about the school!!

i haven't seen raifort/briar mentioned, tho i did mention shipping briar/oleana, and possibly shipping briar w/ the professors. personally, i think sada/raifort are perfect for each other, so i'll probably only ever be able to add briar to the polyship, as i can't bear to break up sada & raifort XP
