Shippers' Paradise General Chat Thread

God I miss obsessing over Pokemon ships ;___; I'll always have my comically large list of Pokemon ships that I love dearly but it's been so long since I've been full on feral over any of them. Not that my obsessing over ships in other fandoms isn't every bit as fun (it is!!), but I do miss when Pokemon ships in particular held my attention in the same way.

I've admittedly been feeling a bit burnt out on Pokémon these days, so I've sort of taken a "break" (if you can call it that) from drawing and writing shippy fanwork — but I have been getting back into editing AMVs and stuff just for fun. I’ve been continuing my rarepair hell in other fandoms (also slowly getting back into Pokemon, albeit with more… stable headcanoning lmao.) I mean, like, “main character of a minigame and a main character of another in the same game and a character who barely counts as a mascot for a separate game” rarepair. I love making things harder for myself : )
 
honestly i understand the continuing rarepair hell in every fandom. somehow i think that just makes some ships more..fun to explore, i suppose? you're mostly working on your own not impacted by general fandom portrayal of said ship potentially molding your own view of them.

They just feel so personal when it's something you yourself get to develop and explore. It kinda rocks tee hee

PokéShipping and Ash/Serena are pretty popular if I remember correctly, I’m not sure about the others but I’m pretty sure that they are too


I’ve been vibing with BlackburnShipping (Cress/Grimsley) once more because the single fic that made me like them updated once more! Also I’ve been rereading of that completed WaterbutlerShipping (Cress/Siebold) fic again lmao. I’ve slowly been getting interested in Cress & Adaman which I don’t think has a name yet but maybe they do? (But I’ve been thinking about of Cress/Adaman as well, might keep them platonic tho)

I’m always going to be in rarepair hell it seems lmao, why must I always fixate on the obscure characters with little to no content to read through so alas, I must make my own

Negaishipping is so cute <3 It's my second favorite Ash x main girl ship after Pokeshipping (actually those are the only two Ash x main girl ships I like...lol) and I've always thought it was incredibly underrated.
