Should Ash and Paul be rivals even as adults?

I think it would be pretty neat if they showed the future and showed Paul and Ash battling still as rivals. What do you think?

I'd definitely like to see how they've matured, and what form their rivalry will have at that point.

I think this is an idea better suited for fanfiction than the anime. I highly doubt we'll ever see any time skips in the anime, even in the last episode.
