should ash have a female main rival

I think it's about time ash had a main rival who happens be a girl basically the complete opposite to Bianca
I would she her being a tough skilled trainer with out being a bitch a sort of Zoe but less sort stereotypical tough girl still having some girly qualities
 
Yes please! It's something that's long overdue. First, make her a competent trainer with experience so she can be considered a threat to Ash from day one (unlike Shota...) and secondly please have her be a jerk so there can be some conflict. I've had enough of friendly rivals thanks to XY.
 
personally I would like to see her as competitive and up for a good battle rather than the out and out jerk like Gary was in the first season someone who's tough in battle but generally friendly and polite out of batttle
 
Iris could have realistically been just that, considering her ambition of becoming a dragon master, and no doubt powerful trainers(and dragon users) whod be there............it was kind of a glaring flaw that she never even considered it. And just settled for the mini tournaments that kept popping up.
 
I didn't mind Bianca. She was cute, and I liked her backstory on being pampered like a princess and having confkicts with her dad.

But if Ash should have a main rival, I'd like to see a trainer who's already famous. Like how Elle was to Serena. We've seen rivals who started as a rookie around the same time as him, and someone who already had experience in training. I'd like to see a famous rival for Ash.
 
I think that a female rival with experience makes sense but I not sure about it being someone famous rather than a skilled trainer who hasn't really been in the spotlight
 
I'd like to see that since his only female "rival" so far was treated like a complete joke. I want I female rival that is a tough battler at a level equal to or greater than Ash. Someone he battles very frequently as well.

I really don't have a preference in terms of personalty. She can be friendly or condescending; I really don't care. I'd just like a female rival I can take seriously, like I did Paul.
 
why only one rival? in 6 generation it screamed for Shauna to te a secret double rival for Ash and Serena.
Would love to see her having mega Venusaur against Ash.

In gen III we had a good female rival at the league for once.
 
I would be open to it. We have 6 regions of male rivals so a female rival would be a nice change. Maybe Lillie could be his rival?
