Should Brock Leave Ash & Co.?

What do you think? Should Brock stay with fellow Ash and Dawn, or depart back to Pewter City or whatnot?

I think it would be interesting to introduce a new male character, like Tracy in the Johto series.

All he is there for is to be a dumb pervert, to point of some of the obvious (as in: "Oh! He used Mirror Coat that attack does...") and to be an explanation of why Ash (& friends) have not died from starvation.

I don't care if he's stale. Having a person there who's knowledgable and take care of the daily needs of the group is important and it makes the group traveling on foot a little more believable.

Yes. If I ever made a Diamond and Pearl Abridged (and I want too), Brock would say nothing the entire season because he has done nothing at all these last 4 years. It's obvious the writers have no idea what to do with him, so they need to get rid of him. There is no reason for him to stay anyways.

Oh wait, rumors say he's leaving anyways.

If Brock leaves, Ash will have to learn how to take care of himself which is a good thing.

Yes. Brock has done nothing really for the last 4 years. Flirting with girls has gone boring to the point where its not funny anymore. I wouldn't mind if he stayed but he has no point in staying other than giving information to the group.

Leave. I wanted Takeshi gone before DP was on the scene, and instead of making him appear in a few episodes in this series, they made him a traveling companion again. I feel there is no difference from his time in the AG series and the DP series. I wanted him gone just to have Satoshi gain improvements of the usual things happening in the journey and take more responsibilities to them, also learning a few more skills not involving PKM battles, but... because of this happening even Satoshi is starting to become less than what I used to see him from previous series.

He shoulda left after Johto League Champions since Misty left for good to be a gym leader again...Brock shoulda done the same and Ash would learn to be more mature

I am also one who approve of Brock leaving, because I had no idea what kind of important things Brock had been doing recently. Also the fact that he gets a tinier Pokemon roster, holding only 3 Pokemon. Oh well, I am looking forward to the day he gets his appropriate leave.
