Should Hoenn be a side quest in generation 6?

Interesting question I thought about today.

Think about it: Having Hoenn like Kanto in generation 2......
Yeah, that doesn't sound too great, but it could work.

APSOLUTELY NOT.
I would hate if that happened. I would litterly send a thousand hate letters until they reply back if that happened. I would RUNEN the whole entire Generation of 3 and 6 if that happened.:saiyan::mad:

No, because that would not be fair to those who wanted a COMPLETE remake of the 3rd gen games, versus some littly side quest. If you want to include it as a side quest after the complete remake, fine. It seems a little redundent to me, but oh well.

The Error 404 "Page not found" is the error page displayed whenever someone asks for a page that's simply not available on your site.

This thread is invalid. Hoenn is just better on it's own.

I agree.
Hoenn needs its own remake game. Making it a simple sidequest is totally unacceptable.

I'm personally okay with this. I mean, it could work like (Fire)Red. It can have its own game and as well be a region available in another game. Having Hoenn be a side region in Gen VI allows a more diverse playing experience.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!! It's a region of its own!!

If Hoenn becomes a sidequest, what happens to all the gym leaders residing there? WHAT HAPPENS TO STEVEN?!!

Absolutely not. Why should Hoenn be shafted to a side quest while Kanto and Johto get proper remakes? (in Kanto's case, FRLG and HGSS).

Hoenn is it's own region, and should stay that way. Full remakes for it.

Having one game with slightly more content isn't really more diverse than having two games with a lot more content in total.

I don't think so. Theres too much to Hoenn to be added to a game with a whole brand new region. To be honest, I think we are most likely to see a RS remake before Gen VI comes along since that would be due to happen during Gen V.

Hoenn as a side-quest wouldn't be such a good idea as we have no idea if the features for Gen VI would really fill up the 3DS cartridge thus leaving little room to add anything else for Hoenn.

Wow!!! What happened to all the R-S remake haters? XD

Remember: In Gold-Silver, the elite 4 and champion were the Kanto ones (with a couple of changes). Also: you got to challenge the Kanto gyms later on. So if something like this did happen (which, I realise now, is highly unlikely), the Hoenn gym leaders, elite 4, and Steven, would be there.

Well, okay. I just thought it would be a good addition if we could access Hoenn in Gen VI.

I'm fine putting a side quest into an RSE remake, but hoenn AS the side quest? no way.

It would be an interesting alternative to a remake, but if the Gen 6 region is anything like Unova, it's gonna be too far away from Hoenn for it to really make much sense.

Also, apparently, the mere though of such a thing happening sends half the fandom into tantrum mode. :/
