I was always been a non-fan when game freak started to put pokémart and pokemon center together.
I was really happy when i saw that they were separated in Omera Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Lemme know what do you think.... XD

I like the convenience of them being together and then having the building that would have been the mart have a different purpose like the clothes...

I like it when they are combined because it's very convenient.

Apart from that I like it because it feels kinda cool to have everything you need as a Trainer inside the Pokemon Center. I'd like it if some PokeCenters included a second floor with rooms for Trainers to stay there overnight. It seemed like some Pokemon Centers worked as free Trainer hotels in the anime. I'd love to see that in the games as well.

Combined. I see absolutely no substantial reason for separating them. Not only does it make more sense to combine them from a story/worldbuilding perspective (how do you figure the Pokémon Centers get their funding?), but it's just objectively more convenient. Separating them was one of the things that I really did not like about ORAS.

Same building. I figure they split them in ORAS to keep the old feel. I'm sure they wont go backwards with Sun/Moon

While the buildings being combined is convenient, a tiny part of me liked them being separate. For silly reasons that I don't understand. Probably because I don't get to hear pokemart music when the buildings are combined.

That said I will never complain about them being together!

I like them being together..

but I was disheartened when Kalos didn't have its own "department store" - I hate having to fly to different cities just to buy different TM's or Pokeballs. The department store doesn't need to sell potions, but the other items it should definitely carry.

I think they should stay combined like they were the past two generations, it's a lot more convinient for me and many others, rather than having to constantly trek around the town all the time.

I agree, it's so much more convenient healing my party and restocking on items as soon as I enter a new town/city. Merging both buildings into one was a step in the right direction, I'm hoping GameFreak doesn't separate the two ever again.

I hope they stay combined in S/M. I will say that I was kind of disappointed in that there wasn't a big department store in Kalos though...

I think the reason why they didn't combine them in ORAS is that they wanted to stay true to the original RSE. But then, why give Mauville the revamp that they did? If they could do that, then I don't really see any reason to separate the Center and Mart.

I don't really care to be honest. When they are under one roof, fine. When I have to walk 10 seconds from PC to PM, fine as well.

Maybe they could go with a connected-but-separate option. Think like the Able Sisters' shop in AC: New Leaf. It's the same building, but you can go between the clothing side and he accessories side. That way you could get the convenience of them being close and also a change in music/atmosphere between the 2.

I would like them both in the same building, but if that's the case I would like to see more expansion like: more shops, variety with the items and even get the pokemon center to look more like a hospital because of how the show tends to make them look like.
