Should Team Rocket have changed their clothes with each series?

Should TR have changed their uniforms with each series like Ash and the other characters do?

While Ash has had two clothing swaps, Team Rocket are still wearing the same clothes since Kanto, for essentially the shows entire run.

Do you think it would have been better that like Ash and Brock, Team Rocket changed their clothes when we made the switch to AG and then DP?
 
I don't think Team Rocket will ever change their clothes. They probably don't have any new clothes packed or prepared for them. They'll just continue wearing the same thing until they get tired of them, I guess. Wow! They're still busy trying to steal Ash and Co's Pokemon that maybe they can't find the time to change their clothing. They're so intense.
 
They designed those costumes themselves to reflect their free spirits and senses of stylish good taste! They should never give into the forces of conformity! NEVER, I say! They must remain true to their ideals, it's all they have left now! Have you no decency, man? Have you at last no decency?!

Wait...they designed them themselves? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. How would they even be allowed to do that?

Well, if they designed the outfits themselves then I don't get why they haven't had outfit changes along with everyone else. Maybe they'll finally change them next generation.

And if they did it NOW, it'd be this awkward kind of "too little, too late" thing.
 
Well, they have somewhat different disguises (Not that it's much). I guess the Team Rocket uniform is just there to make it easier to animate some TR motto scenes.
 
Um, why? They're wearing uniforms. Not really standardized uniforms, of course, but as long as they're working for Team Rocket...
 
Maybe they don't have money to get the new uniforms. They struggle a lot with money problems, they have paid their dues, and James owes the boss some money. They probably have the designs, as they have a certain sense of style, but can't get the fabric, or get anyone to make them. With what money they have, food is more important than clothes.
 
Yeah, it is part of the ''poor and hungry'' thing that has been going on since Johto.
They give out tonnes of money, and never make money.
Go figure.

It's never too little, too late with this show. They gave Gary a clothing/hair revamp even though in his hoso special he looked the same as he did.
 
Well...it's a uniform. If you work for UPS, you don't have a different color uniform for every delivery you make. It's the same old brown number every day of the week.

Despite the fact that Jessie and James designed their own uniforms, it's still a uniform (they should be wearing the standard Team Rocket Grunt uniforms you see sometimes, J&J actually did wear them in the Lugia episodes). Butch and Cassidy haven't changed clothes either.

Besides, it's not like they wear the exact same uniform every day, either. I think they mentioned in Lean Mean Team Rocket Machine about needing a new uniform or something...they probably have a plethora of multiples, just with the same design.

They prefer to invest it in huge robots and such.:)Or maybe that's what they do with the money James gets from the boss. I've always wondered where they get the money to pay for all that, they must be terribly expensive. And, of course those costumes they sometimes wear, like Jessie wearing her veils and all that.
 
Yes, but it doesn't matter anymore since they change their clothes during their routine scams.

Which makes their clothes actually more varied than the main characters. Ironic, no?

Since their clothes were the most "unnormal" of the main characters to begin with, I guess they didn't see a need to update them.
 
I suppose it would have been interesting to see them wearing something different (I personally loved what they wore in the Lugia arc), but it's not that necessary, and truthfully I can't really imagine them in anything else other than what we've seen them in so far.
 
Why would they change out of their uniforms? Officer Jenny still wears the same clothes, so does Nurse Joy. It's a uniform, they're going to keep it on when not in disguise.
