Self-explanatory title. :p I mean, the English releases have had it ever since their beginning in 1998 but the original Japanese have had their game title designs changed almost every generation. Do you think a change in logo design (font, color, etc.) would help the franchise?

I really like how the Japanese logo depends on the games' respective colourations. It would be refresh and interesting to see the international logo as well. Yellow and blue today seems to be outdated anyway.

Yes, I've always really liked the JPN logos over the English ones.

Is it really that important? Like, really? I don't think the colour of Pokémon's international logo not matching its Japanese one is worth losing sleep over, if I'll be entirely honest. Let's not go losing our heads here.

It is a VERY 90s color scheme that dates the series a bit, but they did manage to pick a design so original you can write anything in it and you'd immediately recognize what they're trying to emulate. It doesn't personally matter to me whether they change or not but I suspect they're holding onto it the same reason the franchise as a whole has held onto Pikachu for so long: brand recognition

Personally I don't really care if they do change it or not. I have no problem with the coloring of the English logo, and I would have no problem if they ever do decide to change the color of it.
