Should they make Wobbuffet funny again?

Remember the good old days in Johto and Hoenn when Wobbuffet was doing funny stuff all the time? Like losing the badges? Getting lost with the key? Blowing up the phone booth? Popping behind a tree and saying "Wobbu!" ?
Nowdays he's just a blue blob walking around and saying "Wobbuffet" at the end of Team Rocket motto.
So, do you think he should be funny again once the BW starts?

I don't really care. Either make him amusing again or replace him, either method works. I'm leaning more towards keeping him while juicing up his character.

Personally, I think Ditto would do Wobbuffet's job better. There's just so much more you can do with Ditto that no other Pokemon can accomplish.

The only reason that I "like" Wobbuffet is because whenever it pops up in front of the screen and screams "Wobbuffet!!" I know that the show will turn to the actual story that makes sense instead of wasting time on TR's useless attempts at stealing Pokemon. So, I don't mind Wobbuffet the way that it is.

Wait Woobuffet was funny? Was Team Rocket funny? The all need to be replaced IMO. No point in developing a character that really has no purpose.

Yes. In fact, they've left out Wobbuffet from a lot of episodes lately. If their going to have Team Rocket in it every episode, they should at least throw Wobbuffet in with them as a regular like they used to.

Well I think the main problem was that they have overlooked him too much in the newer episodes. For at least three seasons Wobb was in almost every episode, and thus made us laugh almost every episode. what happened to that?

although, i do agree that as much as i love team rocket, i kind of see no purpose for their characters except for comedic relief/running gag.

So the problem is he's underused, not unfunny. I still enjoy his antics. But there's sometimes when all he's allowed to do is pop out of the ball and shout his name.
