Cyan Hijirikawa, a first-year high school student with a passion for music, wishes to join the music club at her school, but is too shy to do so. One night, after receiving a special guitar called "Strawberry Heart" in a rhythm game, Cyan is sucked into the game world, Sound World, and turned into a cat girl with the ability to harness the the power of Strawberry Heart to defeat monsters. Stuck in Midi City, a cosmopolitan city in Sound World, Cyan soon meets the band Plasmagica, and, presented with the opportunity to fulfill her dream, signs onto their label.

I finished this recently, and while it definitely has a lot of problems, it's actually a pretty cute and fun show, even if the characters are bland and the story needs more than 12 episodes to really develop. It's based on a cell phone game made by Sanrio (Yes, THAT Sanrio, I kid you not) and it's their first attempt to appeal to adults. It can be a bit fanservice-y at times, the characters are underdeveloped and one-dimensional, the CGI is GORGEOUS, and the English dub is pretty funny with witty dialogue and funny casting choices.
