A lot of shows never get off of the ground or get cancelled. Movies get stuck on development or just never get made. Basically, this is for you guys to share what some of you guys were disappointed about your favorite or most anticipated tv and movies that never were and not able to continue.

That 80's show, although it was disappointing, I really liked that it was a thing.

There was supposed to be a Fallout movie in the works sometime after the first game, but it never materialized. There was also going to be a Goosebumps movie fifteen years before the new one coming out in October. It would have been directed by TIM FUCKING BURTON.

The Stargate Atlantis movie that was never made. It was supposed to continue from the rushed series finale.

Jerry Lewis' The Day the Clown Cried

A clown tries to brighten the mood of the captives of Auschwitz. The final scene is the clown coming to terms that they'll never be saved, so does what he does best, entertain the kids in their last moments.

I wonder it's never been released :p

A lot of cartoon pilots on the What a Cartoon! Show that failed to get greenlit. I really enjoyed Pfish and Chip, The Ignoramooses, and The Fat Cats. Not that the shows that managed to get greenlit weren't good, it's just that I found these shows were good in their own right. They had great animation, good character designs, and plenty of slapstick- a good recipe for fun cartoons.

Apparently Disney once attempted to make a "Swan Princess" movie, but...it already got created (and spanned 4 DTV sequels, the final two of which are in...pretty choppy CGI animation).

Oh, and I know Rob Paulsen doesn't like to talk about it, but he worked with a "Bubsy" pilot, based on the short-lived video game series about a bobcat. A bobcat with a t-shirt that bore an exclamation point. He...hated having to say "What could possibly go wrong?" as a catchphrase for the titular bobcat.

There were once serious plans to make a Star Wars live-action television series.

After a Disney acquisition and over a year of silence I'd be skeptical if that project ever materializes. I'm fine with that; there's enough Star Wars in the media to make up for it.

There was once talk of some sort of Guitar Hero show, but after the series's "death" it was canceled. With the release of Guitar Hero Live, who knows what will happen.

I'm pretty sure it's safe to say we're never getting American versions of the other two books in the Millennium trilogy (The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest). Shame, because the first film was very enjoyable and stayed true to the original book.
